Taehyun:
So you don't wanna go on a date?

Beomgyu:
BITCH WHAT

Taehyun:
You called me a bitch. I don't think you deserve a date with me.

Beomgyu:
No 😭

Beomgyu:
But I just broke up with my boyfriend.

Taehyun:
Who I punched the shit out of.

Beomgyu:
Exactly

Beomgyu:
Would I be moving too fast?

Beomgyu:
I'm not sure. I've never done this before.

Taehyun:
So you want me to leave your driveway?

Beomgyu:
WHAT?!?!

Beomgyu ran to his bedroom window and saw Taehyun waving at him. "How did I not hear your bike?!" He yelled after opening the window.

"I don't know!" He pouted and Beomgyu playfully rolled his eyes. "I bought food, but if you don't wanna go on a date-"

"No!" Beomgyu yelled, slamming his window and going to change into nicer clothes, tripping while rushing to put his pants and shoes on. After finally making it downstairs with an inch left of his sanity, he kissed his mother goodbye before running out the door. "Stop threatening me!" He complained.

Taehyun just smiled and hugged him, brushing his fingers through the mess on Beomgyu's head. "Cute."

"Hush," Beomgyu huffed and Taehyun giggled.

"I'm sorry that I surprised you. I just-"

"Shut up. I wanna go." Taehyun giggled again and once again strapped the helmet on Beomgyu's head.

"You're in a mood, aren't you?"

Beomgyu sighed and glared at him. "I got a text from my mom about counseling for how I act now."

"If what you do is bad then I must be the worst criminal alive." It drew a small smile from Beomgyu, but he was still obviously upset. "Im sure it'll be fine Beomgyu. Don't get too worked up about it. She probably won't even make you go."

Beomgyu nodded. "Are we going to the waterfall?"

"Unfortunately, no. It's gonna be storming tonight. But my dad isn't home..." he looked at Beomgyu and sighed when he saw that the boy looked frightened. "Nevermind. I'll figure something else out."

"No, no it's okay. I wanna see a little bit into your mysterious life." He smiled sadly and hugged Taehyun again before walking towards the bike.

By the time they got to Taehyun's house, it was pouring and they ran inside laughing. "Now we're soaked," Taehyun complained, taking off his jacket. "Fun."

Beomgyu giggled and looked around. It was kind of small. Two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, and living room. It was fine, but Beomgyu could tell that Taehyun's dad really made no effort to not live like a slob.

"I'm sorry about the mess. And how bad it looks. My dad spends all the money he gets from the government on himself having fun."

"He doesn't buy you stuff?"

Taehyun shook his head "No. To get money, I um..." he looked at his feet and shrugged. "I do things... with strangers."

"What things?"

Taehyun sighed. "Nothing. Just... let's eat and stop talking about this, okay?"

That's not at all suspicious.

"I bought strawberries since you said you like them, and I also made chicken. It's a little burned because I don't know how to cook but I hope it's okay and-"

"Tyunnie, it's okay," Beomgyu chuckled, following the panicking boy to the kitchen. "I'm just thankful you made food. And it's not even that burnt!" He exclaimed.

They went to Taehyun's room after getting their food and both sat on the bed to eat. It was awkwardly quiet and Beomgyu started to get sad.

"I don't feel like this is going well. I'm sorry."

Taehyun's eyes widened. "What do you mean you're sorry? I like how it's going."

"I'm just so awkward."

"So am I!" Taehyun laughed and took a bite of the chicken, wincing at the taste of it. "It's too burnt." He noticed Beomgyu wasn't eating it either and pouted. "I'm sorry."

Beomgyu giggled and shoved a whole strawberry in his mouth, making Taehyun's eyes widen before they both started laughing.

"Hey," a voice said after the door opened. Taehyun's smile dropped and he set his plate aside.

"What's up?"

"What's your friend doing here?"

"We were just hanging out..."

His dad rolled his eyes and Beomgyu looked down. "I told you you're not allowed to have friends over. Make him leave and then come to my room."

He left and Taehyun looked blankly at Beomgyu. "Can we continue our date at your house?" He asked, catching Beomgyu off guard. "Please?"

Beomgyu looked at him and his eyes widened when he saw tears in Taehyun's eyes. "O-of course." He stood up and both of them walked out, quickly leaving to get on Taehyun's bike. "Can you drive in the rain?"

Taehyun nodded and they drove to Beomgyu's house.
