A/N: Updates are slowing down until December 23rd. I'm working nonstop until the 19th, and on top of that, I have a lot of schoolwork that's all due on the 22nd. I hope you can be patient. I'm trying my best. Love you ❤.

*Later that day*

Taehyun didn't want Beomgyu to come with him. He thought the atmosphere would be too dark and wanted to deal with it alone.

His dad wasn't permanently in prison. They obviously had to do a lot of stuff before that would happen. But he was waiting there. He was waiting inside these terrifying chain fences and brick walls.

Taehyun felt his blood boiling and his heart beating at the same time at the thought of it. His father sitting in there with a smirk on his ugly face. He was probably leaning back in whatever chair they told him to sit in, his arms crossed as he thought about the fucked-up things he would do when he got out.

The inside was no less scary than the outside. It was dimly lit and looked like Hell. He didn't want to end up here too. He couldn't.

After doing paperwork and going through a metal detector, he was finally led to the room. It was an interrogation room which was odd. They were just talking. Nothing else. But he came to assume it was just so they could listen to the two of them.

Maybe Taehyun's father was refusing to speak to them.

Upon entering the room, he heard a disgusting laugh from the man, looking down at his feet instead of the monster across the room.

"Baby blue sweatshirt? What happened to your leather jacket? You really look like a prissy bitch now."

Taehyun bit his tongue, doing everything in his power to not do anything he would regret. He didn't wanna end up here. He couldn't get in trouble at all.

"Taehyunnie, won't you look at me?" He asked in a sweet tone. The sweetness was nowhere short of sinister though.

"I came here to talk to you about me," Taehyun said, sitting across the metal table from him. He tried not to look down at his father's hands that were crossed on the table. He also tried not to look at the lack of handcuffs on them.

He finally looked at his father, a blank expression upon his face as he tried not to show any type of fear or sadness.

"We're not talking about you. We're not talking about your trial. We're not talking about your fucked up mindset. We're talking about me." He said the last part with more emphasis, surprising even himself with how well he was able to talk down to his father.

"Then go ahead." There was a darker look in his eyes than before, and Taehyun felt the lump in his throat become more unbearable as he wanted to start crying. Out of fear, sadness, anger, and the need to apologize to himself for letting it go on for so long.

No. He couldn't cry yet. Not in front of this man.

"Why did you hurt me?" Was his first question.

It made his dad's demeanor falter for a second before he jokingly said "pass" while laughing and Taehyun sighed.

"Was my mom such a great person that I needed to suffer just because she died while giving birth to me?'

His father burst into laughter again and he rolled his eyes. "Kang Taehyun, if you want the honest, painful truth, then fine. You wanna know so much about your mother, right? How kind and beautiful she is? Well guess what. Whatever imagination you have of her is bullshit. She's a psychotic whore."

Taehyun finally had enough and stood up abruptly. "Do not speak about my mom like that!" He screamed, freaking out when two cops came in and grabbed him. "Fuck you!" He yelled while being pushed out.

He drove back to Kai's house with a scowl on his face. He didn't know his mom, but he knew that wasn't true. It couldn't have been. Anything said by his dad most likely wasn't true.

When he got there, he walked upstairs as calmly as he could to not stomp, going into his room and looking down while closing the door.

"How'd it go?" Beomgyu asked from where he was doing homework on the bed.

"It went fine," he said softly while shaking his head. "It went better than expected."

"It was still bad though?" Taehyun nodded, crumpling in the comfort of Beomgyu's arms when the boy came over to hug him. "Did he say anything about your mom?"

"Only bad things," he mumbled. If the situation wasn't so deep and emotional, Beomgyu would have thought he was adorable. But then the realization of what Taehyun said snapped him out of his trance.

"What did he say?"

Taehyun sighed and Beomgyu quickly backed away so it didn't seem like he was pushing him. "Just a lot of bullshit. I don't really want to talk about it." He kissed Beomgyu gently, even though the annoyance in his eyes was extremely evident. "It'll make me angry thinking about him. Why don't we go on a date? We haven't had one in while."

Beomgyu's eyes were wide.

So many words rushed out of Taehyun's mouth.

That meant he really was serious though and Beomgyu grabbed his things. He was excited. Like Taehyun said, they hadn't had a date in a while. And they both probably needed this.
