39. Fuck Off

The weekend had probably been the worst of Taehyun's life. Beomgyu hadn't blocked him or anything, but he wasn't online. Taehyun didn't text him at all though.

Everything went back to shit. His dad became an asshole again and he just hated everything now. What he said was true. Beomgyu truly was his only family.

And now that's fucked up.

He was too confused, overwhelmed, frustrated, and downright furious to even try to think about why Beomgyu did that though. All he wanted at this point was to just... leave. Graduate and then leave, even if that meant leaving behind that university and the great opportunities he had lined up.

He just felt like there was nothing in Seoul for him. Nothing.

Beomgyu was gone now and he was his only family.

Beomgyu was Taehyun's only family...

Right?

"What's going on with you guys?" Kai asked Beomgyu as Taehyun coldly walked passed them. "Did you fight?"

Beomgyu sighed. "We broke up..."

"What?!"

Everyone in the hallway looked at them and Beomgyu quickly shushed him. "It was... that guy."

"What guy? Wait, he broke up with you?"

"No. I broke up with him... very harshly... for no reason."

Kai rolled his eyes and dragged him to a closet. "Why in the hell..."

"Let me explain-"

"So you start dating a bad boy who's also a prostitute who's also an abused boy with both mommy and daddy issues. You have sex with him, bring joy to his life, and then dump him." Kai crossed his arms and Beomgyu looked at him in shock.

"You don't know what happened."

"Did he break your heart? No? Did he do anything at all to harm you in any way?" Beomgyu shook his head. "Then why?"

"I'll tell you during lunch. I don't wanna talk about it here."

"Why didn't you tell Taehyun?" Kai asked. They were once again in the closet, but the hallway was much less crowded now.

"He said it would just be worse if I did."

Kai rolled his eyes. "Taehyun should know."

"But then what will Hangyeol do? We don't know what else he has. Taehyun will only be hurting for a little bit."

Kai so badly wanted to cuss him out for even thinking that. Obviously Taehyun loved him. What the fuck? "Fine." He clicked his tongue in irritation. "But I'm telling the other two. And when Hangyeol gets his face punched in by Yeonjun Hyung because you didn't want it to be by Taehyun, guess nobody will ever know why."

"What did you do?" Soobin asked, looking at Yeonjun's bloodied hand.

"Kai told me to."

Soobin glared at Kai who just smiled proudly. "You guys know he deserved it."

"Who deserved what?" A certain blonde asked, walking into the office.

"Hangyeol. He's just being an idiot and Yeonjun beat him up. And got a suspension," Soobin said the last part maliciously and Yeonjun giggled.

"Well tell him to fuck off-"

"Kang Taehyun. My office! Now!" The superintendent yelled.

Taehyun smiled sarcastically at the three of them. "I beat Hyunwoo's ass again. And I know I'm gonna get my ass beat later." His smile faded and he walked away with the superintendent.

Yeonjun sighed and they both looked at him. "You guys thinking what I'm thinking?" Kai asked.

"Yeah," Yeonjun shook his head. "He's so angry that he's acting happy. We need to find a way to get them back together before Taehyun kills someone."
