[The Parkers Mission]

KAI'S POV

"I got this under control." I spat, staring at my father darkly; his smudge expression made me want to end him right there and then. Jo saw my jaw clench and my hands tremble in anger. I hate the way he stares at me like I'm useless, like there's no way I'm capable of fixing things.

"Don't worry dad, I'll be helping Kai out." Jo said softly, trying to ease the tension between our father and me. Joshua arched his right brow and sighs deeply, "Very well." He said unamused, then trails his eyes over to Orange, who had a mischievous smile plastered over her lips.

"And fix her fast; I don't want any issues in this coven." He said, infuriated, towards me and Jo before making his way into the house.

I hate him.

"Are you okay Kai?" Jo whispered over to me with concerned eyes. I, for one, want to be left alone right now and her asking questions? Yeah, that isn't part of the plan. My eyes flicker over to Orange and back at Jo, "Don't worry about me sissy, we should really worry about her, I mean? I would love to do it myself, butttt-" I grin while she rolls her eyes at me for being dramatic. "You're the one with the good old fashion magic! Unless..." I placed my index finger on my chin, pretending to think hard. "Ah! You gave me some magic, and I can solve this ish alone."

Jo frowns her brows and shakes her head, "Kai, you are not juice boxing my magic."

Worth a try.

I raise my hands in defeat and smile sheepishly, "Okay then, but remember that... I'm way better at magic than you are." Jo looked at me, offended. She sure didn't like me pointing that fact out, even though it was true, but hey? Who am I to judge.

I'm the siphoner here.

"Eh, I'm so bored." Orange whines and tries standing, but her twisted ankle prevents the girl from doing so. "Ow..." she mumbled, sitting back down and rubbing her ankle, staring at me with puppy dog eyes.

"She's staring at you funny Kai..." Jo gave Orange a puzzled look, and I couldn't help but grin, "Trust me, Orange normally doesn't look at me like that."

"Orange? I thought her name was Ana." Jo sighs deeply, even more confused than before.

"My name's Autumn, you stupid bitch." Orange said through clenched teeth, and I let out a loud laugh. Jo's eyes widened, standing next to me speechless.

"Can we ditch her? I know she's your sister and all, but like... she's so annoying, and I kinda wanna be alone with you." Orange gave me a pout, and Jo's right eye twitched.
