Chapter Eighteen

[Never Forget, 1991]

KAI'S POV

"K-kai." The girl moans out while I thrust deep inside her.

Fuck. I thought, holding onto her hips as I fuck her from behind. After a few more seconds had passed by, we hit our climax. I pull out of her and dispose of my condom, turning to face the desperate girl who came looking for me the other day.

She walks over to me and wraps her arms around my neck, pulling me close to her so our lips align together and the smell of cigarettes invades my nostrils. I scrunched my nose in disgust as she leaned in to kiss me. I moved my head to the side and took her hands, removing them from my neck. She gave me an odd look.

"It was nice and all, Bailey, but I don't do the whole kissing thing. It's just a quick fuck, and that's all." I spat coldly, making her glare at me. She turns away and grabs her pants, putting them on before she walks over to me again, "By the way? My names Brianna, you dick." She spat in my face before bumping her shoulders with mine and walking out.

I could have sworn it was Bailey. I thought but soon shrugged, making my way out of the boy's bathroom located in the Gemini headquarters. Fixing my hair, I made my way down the halls and spotted my sister. She was talking to our father, who looked miserable as always. While I approached them, their conversation was cut short.

"Oh, don't stop talking on my account unless it was about me?" I joke, making Jo give me a 'stop messing around' look while dad just stared at me bitterly. "I hope all good things." I gleam, turning to Jo, "I need to talk to you."

Jo turns to dad before she looks at me, "Okay." My twin said, and we both made our way across the hall and away from Joshua. He wouldn't approve of anything I had to say, so he didn't have to be involved in this conversation.

My twin leaned against the wall, and I did the same. "Okay, what do you want, Kai?" She questions, and I gasp, "Why is it always about wanting something with you?" I joke, making her give me a 'what else would it be' look, and I sighed.

"Okay, okay. I do want something." I grin.

"Shocker." She mumbles, turning to face me. "I'm not doing your homework." She warns, making me huff. "You know I'm smarter than you, Jo. Let's not make jokes here." I tease, and she pouts.

"Well- I'm not sneaking into the principles offices. You know what dad said? If we do anything reckless, he's going to pull us out of public high school, and it's our last semester. Not only will he pull us out but every Gemini." She warns, making me roll my eyes.

In the beginning, we weren't allowed to study with humans but at the age of seventeen. My sister and other young Geminis convinced my father that we should be around humans to blend in and learn how to live life without magic. I don't know how that old man thought it would be a good idea, but, hey? I'll go anywhere as long as it gets me away from the coven.
