it's been a rough couple days in the malik family home. on top of finding out that louis knocked up his girlfriend, now they're finding out that the baby might not have been his to begin with. when liam had broke the news to zayn and louis about what harry said, the blue eyed male was more in shock than anything else. sure there was anger present, but he was in a state of disbelief.

he and eleanor were almost at the year mark of their relationship, and this is really what it's coming to? there's nothing worse he could think of than this, excluding the outcome of someone dying. never in a million years would he have guessed that she'd went behind his back and cheated on him. she was one of the few girls that wanted to date him for him and not for the fame or to get closer to his dad.

it's hard enough making friends and building relationships with people when you're a celebrity child, you never know who's being genuine or who you can trust. not that louis really struggled with making friends given his outgoing personality but there were times where he'd question who were really his true friends. so it definitely stung to hear that eleanor was being unfaithful, and it made him question whether anything in their relationship had been real to begin with.

along with finding out all that information, liam and zayn—mainly zayn because he was furious—made arrangements to have eleanor's parents to come meet with them and sort this out a.s.a.p. because there isn't anyway they're going to continue cooperating with them if it turns out the baby isn't louis', especially if she plans on keeping it and raising it. because there is no way in hell that they are going to make louis play daddy to a kid that's not his at his age.

of course if the kid did turn out to be his, they'd make sure that louis takes care of his responsibility and is a good father. but a sixteen year old throwing away his life for a girl who cheated on him and has another boy's baby? no sir, no ma'am. not while zayn's still walking amongst the living.

when the time had come for them to arrive over to their house, louis was stuck between feeling angry and nervous. he needed to get to the bottom of this, but at the same time he was still hoping that this was all a misunderstanding and that what harry heard wasn't what was said. not that he's doubting harry, but there's something inside him that wants this not to be real because if it turns out to be true, it only means he wasted his time on a meaningless relationship.

you could argue that he's only sixteen and has a lifetime to find the one he will spend his life with, which may be true, but it doesn't make it hurt any less. a heart break is a heart break, and a cheater is just a dirty cheater nonetheless, louis doesn't think he'll ever be able to forgive. but, he needs to confront her and see for himself what happened...when it happened. and that's what he's going to find out really soon here.

there's a firm knock on the door, snapping louis out of his trance. he is about to jump up to answer if, but zayn beats everyone to it. the door opens to reveal eleanor's dad and mom, eleanor standing behind them with her hands clasped in front of him and head down. her mom has her arms crossed, looking already wanting to bitch at someone, and the dad looked equally if not more agitated. zayn invites them in, not looking happy himself and definitely not anywhere near intimated by the other man.

they all settle in the living room, el sitting between her parents, while liam and zayn sit next to each of her and louis occupies the recliner. his eyes glaring at the brunette who's head is still down, hair covering her face, too ashamed to even spare him a glance since she walked in.

"let's just cut to the chase," zayn starts off. liam tenses slightly, fearing what his husband might say, knowing that the man does not care about filtering what he has to say or sugar coating stuff to avoid hurting someone's feelings. the brunette swallows. "before any of this can continue, we're gonna need a dna test." zayn says bluntly.
