later on that day, liam arrived to pick up niall and harry from school. he'd already been informed about louis' suspension which he hadn't been very fond of hearing at all. he still didn't know the full story yet, but he was still unhappy with the news. louis shouldn't be getting himself into trouble so early on, it's ridiculous. although, liam figured he'd talk to him once he and zayn returned home to find out what went down first, before he decided to judge. i'm te mean time, he just wanted to pick up the remaining two from school and hopefully find that they have had a better day.

liam sat in his car pulled up along the curb as he waited for them to come out. the radio was turned at a medium volume, clean rap music filling the vehicle. the man sat up in his seat, folding his arms against the steering wheel and resting his chin on top of them. he watched as all the students started flooding out of the building. some of them hopping into cars, whilst others headed in the direction of the school buses, or either stood around in the yard chatting with others.

a few of them recognized liam, and waved at him with bright smiles and squeals of delight. thankfully, they had the decency not to approach the car and bug him, not that liam particularly had a problem with it. but, he didn't need a crowd of teenagers flocking to the car and blocking his way. not to mention, these were people that the boys went to school with everyday, it would be too odd and awkward. it had been hard enough finding a decent private school where the boys could attend without being mobbed and would actually be able to get an education without any hindrance. a school that was experienced in dealing with celebrities and had rules that protected celebrity kids from those occurrences.

zayn and liam were able to walk onto the campus without people acting too insane, and didn't need the presence of a body guard with them. it was great, because it was far too troublesome to have a body guard with them just to pick up or drop off their kids at school. anyways, liam simply smiled back at them and gave them a brief wave of acknowledgment. he drummed his fingers against the wheel as he waited to see the familiar faces of his sons emerge from the doors. after a few more moments, niall is the first to walk outside. he's talking with his girlfriend, and they share a kiss and a hug before niall jogs towards the car and climbs inside.

"hey ni, how was your first day?"

"eh, it was okay. same old same old, nothing extraordinary about it." niall shrugs, strapping on his seatbelt. liam chuckles.

"just another day, huh?"

"pretty much." niall answers, nonchalantly. liam smiles, nudging his arm. just then, the back door on niall's side opens up and in comes harry. liam turns to greet him with a smile.

"hi papa."

"hey love, how was your day?" he questions. harry beams.

"it was great! all my new teachers are so cool, and they seem really nice. i think i'm going to like this semester." harry tells him merrily.

"that's lovely, sweetheart. think you made any new friends?" liam asks as he starts to pull out of the lot. harry shrugs.

"i dunno, i talked to a few people and they were okay, but i'm not sure they'll want to become friends." harry murmurs. liam smiles softly.

"it's okay, it'll take a little time for you all to warm up to one another. just be patient." he tells the teen.

"besides, you always have the guys from my soccer team. they grew quite fond of you, y'know, h." niall comments, glancing at him through the rear view. harry hums.
