there's this rumor that has been cursing the malik family for a long time, even before both liam and zayn got married and adopted their three beautiful children. allegedly some people believed that zayn was abusive towards his kids— even a few of his fans had this hunch. it mainly begin with the assumption that he abused liam a couple years back. this started up years ago when zayn was still a little new to the fame.

they started dating one another in their very early twenties and pretty much fell in love from there. during that time, zayn was a rising star having just now get his singing career off the ground, whilst liam was just a normal uni student dabbling a bit in youtube. once zayn started to get really big and known to the world, that's when the rumors started out. as a celebrity, people are always watching you and judging your every move, like they feel obligated to decide what kind of a person you are or what kind of person you're going to turn out as. albeit a great deal of people loved zayn, his music, him as a person in general, there was also in addition to that the ones who tried to point out the very worst in zayn, i.e, his anger issues.

notwithstanding, it was a completely made up rumor based off the way zayn tended to act in public when faced with fans, paparazzi, or others. zayn tended to come off as rude sometimes in the way that he responded to his fans on the streets. maybe it was because of the short hurried replies, or the lack of emotion on his face when he interacts with them that makes him come off as agitated or rude.

or the way he was seen to be aggressive towards the paparazzi, getting into an argument over the seemingly smallest of situations. zayn can admit that he gets annoyed, upset even, when cameras are being paraded in his face whilst personal and private questions are being shouted at him from every which way, in his ear every time he steps foot into the outside world. oh but wait, there's more.

added on to the incomprehensible hearsay, there was also the fact that some fans would believe that liam was scared of zayn somehow, just based off the way he carried himself when he was around zayn in the public. he was quiet, like he was afraid to speak or say something to anger him, or that he always stood in behind zayn like a little lost puppy, and always looked afraid around him. then again, how else was liam supposed to act when he was surrounded by a crowd of screaming fans? or the press, whom can and will take any and everything you say out of context and turn it into something it's not? of course liam would appear nervous and afraid around them, it wasn't zayn he was afraid of at all.

zayn was completely aghast as to why people would make such insane accusations. he'd never hurt liam, nor has he ever once thought about doing so, even through their worst arguments and disagreements. they loved one another very much, furthermore they carried a moderately healthy relationship. as for the rumor that zayn abuses his kids, it's complete and utter bullshit. yes, zayn spanks his kids, and is heavy on disciplining them, but to say he abuses them was completely out there. it was totally untrue. he didn't spank them for no reason at all and he didn't enjoy disciplining them. he always let them know why they are in trouble and he always comforted them after they take their punishment. it was just his way of disciplining them and teaching them their wrongdoings. it wasn't abuse— he never left behind bruises, or scars, or anything to indicate he put them through a great amount of pain, nor neglect.

besides, the boys loved him and never appeared to be scared of him, surely that's what your kids do if you're harming them and they are scared of you. this rumor has been following them a couple years now, one of the main reasons why zayn gets asked about having anger issues often— which zaynie denies every single time. nevertheless, zayn has learned to ignore the rumors by now and not to let them get to him, in view of the fact that only he and his family knew what went on inside of their household, and that was that.
