"cannonball!" niall yells as he runs out of the door door suddenly and jumps into the pool. harry screams loudly as his splashed with water from niall's body. when niall resurfaces, he laughs loudly having catch harry off guard. harry whines and pushes niall away, but grabs him by the shoulder and dips him in the water, and then quickly swims away as harry resurfaces and flares at him. harry starts swimming after him.

louis is sitting in one of the chairs near the pool, texting away on his phone not paying attention to whatever everyone else was doing. the weather was pretty nice outside, so all decided to spend a day out by the pool. zayn was cooking on the grill, while liam was sitting at the table with his face stuffed inside of a magazine he was flipping through, occasionally helping zayn with the food on the grill.

a lot has been happening for the last weeks with the family, today they had hoped to just have a relaxing day with no drama, and no accidents. so far everything is going well, the boys seemed pretty content in how things were going. harry was a lot happier nowadays and little less clingy towards zayn, although still close with him. he was definitely feeling a lot better than before. so all was well again as of now in the malik household.

harry swims over towards where louis is, resting his elbows on the edge. "lou, come play with us." he says. louis doesn't look away from his phone.

"not right now harry, i'm busy." louis says. harry pouts just as niall swims over to them, resting next to harry.

"busy doing what? talking to your girlfriend?" niall asked smugly. harry gasps.

"lou has a girlfriend?" harry asked like a wide eyed child. niall nods.

"mhm, her name is Eleanbore." niall jokes. louis glares at him.

"shut the fuck up, that's not her name."

"oh it's not? i don't know, Eleanbore kinda fits her cause she's boringggg." niall says just trying to rile louis up. harry giggles loudly looking at louis' face turn red as his glare on niall hardens.

"seriously niall, shut up. i'm not in the mood." louis says. niall looks at harry with a knowing look. harry is confused at first but then he gets what niall is trying to convey to him when niall does a have motion to him. niall mouths to him as he starts to count down from three. once he reaches one both he and harry, jump up and splash louis with the water. louis gasps loudly sitting up quickly when the cold liquid hits him. good thing he has his waterproof case over his phone or he would've been screwed. "YOU ASSHOLES!" louis yells just as his two brothers take off, harry's giggling echoing. louis gets up, jumping into the pool and his first target is to go after harry before he's the slower swimmer. harry screams when louis catches him, and starts wrestling around in the pool water flying everywhere.

"not too rough lou!" zayn calls from where he's standing when he sees louis place harry in a headlock.

"ni, help me!" harry yells. niall shakes his head.

"no can do, buddy you're on your own." niall laughs, watching the two play fight from the other side of the pool. zayn smiles at them and continues cooking the burgers on the grill. it takes a little while longer to finish up cooking everything, but an hour passes and he's finally done. liam has joined the boys in the pool for a while to be on harry's team for the volleyball game. zayn covers the food up to keep the flies out and walks into the house to grab something. that's when drama stirs up.
