"Eyes here." Sitwell demanded the room, "whatever your op is, bury it. This is Level One. Contact DOT. All traffic lights in the district go red. Shut all runways at BWI, IAD, and Reagan. All security cameras in the city go through this monitor right here. Scan all open sources, phones, computers, PDAs. Whatever. If someone tweets about this guy, I want to know about it."

The entire room stared up at the screen as an image of Captain Rogers and Gwen Summers adorned it. The Excel team stood together against a far wall, uncomfortably listening.

"We'll be sending out tac teams into any potential areas they may be. Take down Rogers if you have to, but we need Gwen back alive."

"With all due respect, Agent Sitwell," Michael pushed off the wall he was leaning against, "if you're conducting a manhunt to hunt down one of my teammates and Captain America, I think we deserve to know why."

"Because he lied to us." Secretary Pierce entered the room, turning heads. "Both Captain Rogers and Gwen Summers have information regarding the death of Director Fury. They refused to share it. And for your information, Agent Stark, we are not conducting a manhunt to hunt down both Gwen and Captain Rogers. We are only focused on rescuing Gwen from her kidnapper."

He began to circle the room, staring at the images on the screen. "We are lead to believe that Captain Rogers has been manipulating Gwen, clouding her mind and feeding her lies which may be the reason why she so reluctantly declined to share."

"With all due respect, Mister Secretary, Gwen's not an idiot. I don't think she would put stock into any lies you so describe," Michael spoke up again.

"Very true. This is why it is imperative we get her back before Captain Rogers can compromise her any further."

Alex let out an audible laugh from the other side of the room, grabbing the attention of everyone in the room, including Pierce.

"Is something funny, Agent Draconus?"

Alex looked up at all the eyes on him. He pushed off the wall and started sauntering forward. "Yeah, I do actually. Clouded her mind? Feeding her lies? Compromising her? I don't know about any of you, but that sounds like a steaming pile of bullshit to me," Alex was mere inches from the Secretary's face.

"So tell me, Mister Secretary, what's the real reason you want her back so bad?" He challenged.

Pierce glared him down, "I suggest you choose your next words very carefully, Agent Draconus. You don't know where you might end up."

Michael stepped forward, pushing Alex back with his arm. "Apologies, Mister Secretary. I'll get them ready for orders."

Pierce nodded, "Excel team, you know Gwen best. Where do you think she'd go? You'll be in charge of finding her."
