LOUISA's POV
The first day of school was very tiring. It didn't really occur to me, that my ancestor Leonardo Ravensdale, was the first and the most powerful supernatural ever born, that my bloodline started with him. I didn't even realize that I would show off like that, during Mom's class. I told myself I'd be invisible but I really can't help it. Thankfully, she didn't scold me for having loads of questions earlier. After my conversation with Mom at her office, right after our water basic control session, I finally have the chance to further clarify things with my Dad.
"Hi." I greeted my Dad as the server pulled a chair for me to sit on.
"So, how was class?" he asks enthusiastically, obviously pretending not to know about my conversation with Mom earlier. "Mom told me you were good at her class today." He hands me a bowl of soup.
I took the bowl from his hand and manage a smile. "Mom, told me about mermaids."
"Oh, so you've learned about that." He beams at me. "Tell me more." He urges.
"So, Dad, Leonardo Ravensdale was the first King?" I ask while cutting the grilled pork.
He looks at me with amusement. "Prof. McFarland told you that?"
"Nope, the thought just came up, but," I look at him in the eyes. "It's true, right?"
"Nope." he says and sips his drink.
Dad told me that the first King was Leonardo's grandson, Alfredo. Since the people of the Elemental Galaxy are starting to lack gratefulness to his grandfather he decided to rule the Galaxy. He crowned himself King, which was approved by the followers of Leonardo, but of course some did object. Though they can't do anything to change the fact that he was the grandson of their savior and creator of the Elemental Galaxy.
"Dad, what does this place look like before?" I ask while chewing a mouthful, not princess like at all.
He drink a glass of water and raise an eyebrow on me, "Well, I can't really give you the picture since I didn't exist during those time, but according to the legends, Leonardo don't want to feel that he's not on Earth, so he copied everything he loved about it, that's why we have Jack-of-all-Trades, there's means for getting garments, food and anything that a person needed to live." He looks at me, "you see back then, money did not exist, so they traded."
"Oh, there's so much to learn, huh?" I decided. "You know what I'm hungry." I gulp some apple juice. I don't really wanna be loaded with so much information right now.
After dinner some teenagers sung a song led by Prof. McFarland this time, I glance at my friends; Kennedy is talking with her new friend Jack and Jasmine is sharing inside jokes with Fred. I think—or I know for I was eavesdropping.
"You found new friends?" Dad asked looking at the direction of my friends then he looks at me. "That's good."
I shake my head. "No, besides Jasmine and Kennedy. No."
"You'll find more," he assured me. "Still contacting your friends back in California?" he asks.
I turn my direction towards my friends again. "No, not yet, can I go home later?" I look at him. "At the mansion?"
"No," he says firmly before looking at me, "you can't. It will be unfair to the others," he squeezes my shoulder. "but you can come by my office to make a call." He winks at me.
