LOUISA's POV

"I'm so proud of you!" Mom beams at me as she give me bone breaking hug. "Oh, my baby girl." She continues as she stroke my hair, "You won your first duel!"

"Your duel was the quickest and the best today!" Dad says proudly. "I knew you'd win." He winks as he tips his glass of champagne at me.

I hug them both that took them by surprise, "Thank you!" that's all I could manage. "Thank you, for everything."

We are in the dining hall, the original tables has been replaced with circular tables covered with pastel colored linens. Red drapes hangs on the wall. Students and the parents of the participants are celebrating the success of today's event. Faculty, students or parents that would pass by would stop to congratulate me.

I am so thankful that our plan worked. Thanks to the mistake of Claire we won easily. I guess we we're the only team that didn't have any serious injury. I wonder how's Morgan doing right now. I mean she's been knocked out by lightning twice this school year, and both times has been serious. The first was in Dad's dining area and the most recent was during the duel. Not counting our first encounter two weeks before the start of the school year, though. Three times since we knew each other. I sigh at the thought.

"Louisa, my dear." A female dressed in a pink fluffy coat approaches, showing her wrinkled smile, her sea green eyes shows that she's not really happy to see me. She pulls me in for a tight hug, "Oh, my dear." She smells like a freshly baked cinnamon.

"I can't even breath." I mumble. "I'm sorry I don't know you." I say as I push her off of me.

"Oh... so you've met your Aunt Bridget." Mom appeared out of nowhere.

"Sister!" The lady who just suffocated me squeezes my Mom's shoulder "Your daughter's good!" Aunt Bridget kisses Mom's cheeks. "You must be proud!"

Mom chuckles awkwardly. "How's Morgan?" Mom asks. "Is she okay?" Showing concern of my unconscious cousin.

"She's fine just lost her consciousness," Aunt Bridget manages a fake smile, "but she'll be alright!" She waives her hand like nothing serious had happened. "Isn't the first time she's been through this." She gives me a wink.

As I stare at my Mom and Aunt Bridget they have nothing alike except their sea green eyes. Aunt Bridget has curly blonde hair while Mom has long black straight hair. Especially on the way they dress Mom wears modern fashion clothes while Aunt Bridget wears 80's fashion with a really big hat that could cover at least two persons.

"Is something wrong?" Aunt Bridget asks, she must have caught me eyeing her. "Are you okay, dear?"

        "Oh... Nothing...nothing." I reply with a smile. " I was just, uhm..."

"Louisa, there you are!" Jasmine approaches me. She stood still realizing I was talking to my mother. "Oh... forgive me your majesty but can I borrow the Princess?" She says apologetically as she bows.

"Well, of course dear." Mom answers graciously. "This is your victory party after all."

"Thanks." Jasmine bows once more and grabs me towards the crowd.
