Louisa's POV

"How long 'till she wakes up?" A murmuring voice registered in my mind.

"I can't say," Xavier, the witch said. "But, maybe after three days of being unconscious she'll wake anytime soon."

Three days? I've been out that long? I thought. My luck is really one of a kind. I'm not in a hospital. I realized. How did that doctor see me if It was a dream. I wonder.

"Have you heard from Kristee?" Celine, the Alpha's brother asks.

"I'm trying to locate her," Xavier sound hesitant. "But my visions are block, by someone much more powerful."

"Where could she be?" Celine sigh. "Francis is really depressed right now."

"Excuse me," Jasmine interrupts Xavier and Celine's conversation. "Is this the result of, you know, using psychokinetic ability?"

"Well, yes, and something's dragging her back to sleep every time she tries to even open her eyes." Xavier sounded so sure.

"What's holding her back?" Jared asks. The grip on my hand tightens. "Can you cure her?"

"I don't know." Xavier replied. "For now, we just have to wait."

"Well, not for long." The room suddenly fell into an awkward silence when the Alpha spoke. "The girl is waking."

Awkward silence hanged in the air, until the Denali's princess broke the ice. "How long have you been there?" Celine ask.

"Just now," Francis bitterly replied. "Well? I'm not the patient here."

Celine said something about her brother being heartsick and I heard the door shut close. The people and the room might have held their breath for too long, before they breathed comfortably. I felt them moving closer around me, as I try to open my heavy eyes lids. I really have no idea that my eyes could be glued, after sleeping for three days. Jared's hand tightens on mine.

"Louisa," Jared's voice registered in my head. "Welcome back."

When I opened my eyes, the first thing that struck is the look of the people around me. A lot has changed in three days. I thought. Am I still dreaming? But then in my dream I never felt pain. Now, I could feel pain on my back and my roaring stomach from hunger I suspect. I shrug the pain and hunger away and tried to focus on my surroundings. My friends seriously needs shower and rest. Their eyes could pop out of its socket anytime, they're mostly covered with dirt and there's mixture of stress, fear and tiredness in them.

"Hey there princess," Jared might have tried to be cheerful, but he winced when he moved. "I've waited so long, to see those beautiful eyes and hoping I could also the smile."

I try to smile, but moving a muscle almost burns but I've never been burned, not once. Xavier whose wearing a velvet robe came closer to me. He chanted a spell in words I can't understand, it could be Latin or something much more ancient. After the spell, he quickly remove his hand of my forehead like he was burned. Then they all back away from me with terrified eyes, only Fred whose face remained unchanged didn't move back. Then it hit me. Of course he's resistible to fire.

"It's a good sign," Xavier slowly breathes as he steps back with the other. "She's healing."

"Bad sign for the werewolves," Kennedy shakily added. "She's burning down the place."
