LOUISA's POV

I always have this feeling that I should help, when I see someone's in need, because that's how I was raised. I saw Ms. What-Are-You-Doing-Here, the one that I had fought with couple of days ago, bullying a girl that can't fight back. The one that was being bullied just stares at the floor; all she does was listen to all the inhumane insults that Morgan throws her way which is not right; she almost slapped the poor girl if I hadn't interfered. The red head girl looks fragile and lost maybe that's why, "Morgan the bully" found it easy to play with her.

"Dad," I protested. "Morgan is not playing fair! I was just saving Jasmine from this bully." I pointed at Morgan. She crossed her arm and rolled her eyes on me. Brat! She thought.

How'd she knew my name? I heard Jasmine's confused mind, and that striking accent. Why am I on this mess? My head throbs so many voices. She rubs her forehead.

"Louisa, I didn't raise you to be a gangster, right?" There's disappointment in his voice and sadness in his blue eyes while looking at me, as we approach to his office. "I can't understand—"

"I'm sorry, I just what to help," I answered sadly, "but I just disappointed you." I said feeling sorry for myself. "But, what should have I done? Let the bully win?"

Oh, wanting some sympathy from Daddy? Eh? I heard Morgan's mocking thoughts. She's sitting across me leaning at Dad's golden table. I'm gonna crash you! she went on.

As if on cue Dad look at her, "Morgan, do a 72 hours community service!" He said with authority. "You should start tomorrow after your classes." He sat on his chair and wrote a letter.

"But uncle... your majesty... I-" Morgan try to protest but Dad look away from her and darted his eyes on me. "As for you,go to your room and take Jasmine with you, classes will start tomorrow" he glance at the pile on his desk and clear his throat, "but before that, make sure you won't be late for dinner."

I stood from my seat, "She's my cousin?" I asks surprised by the news and shrug. What else is new? "Impossible!" I exclaimed. "You promised, Dad. No more secrets."

"Not now." He gestured dismissively. "Sit." He ordered Morgan, "let's talk about your punishment." Best thing to do is comply, so I invited Jasmine whose sitting at the couch to come with me, besides Dad is not in the mood right now. Also, I don't want to be in the same room as Morgan. I can't believe the bully is my cousin. Why, why, why of all people, why do I have to be related with her?

"We have no say  in regards to such matter do we?" Jasmine says as her hazel brown eyes are staring at me. How? Could she read my mind? Her accent is so pleasing to the ears.

"Surprisingly I could. Weird, I know." She looks down and I realize she's shy. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to pry." She sadly added. "I have no control over it."

"Hey, you're not weird, trust me." I said cheerfully I hope it worked. "This is the perfect place for you and me." I assured her.

We walk from the hallway up to the second floor of the Academy the staircase is made of solid gold with ruby, green opal gems as decoration. 'Magnificent architecture.' I thought. Jasmine obviously adores the place, she runs her fingers at the beam of the staircase like it's her first time to see something magnificent. I can't blame her that was probably my reaction when I first saw it too, and she frown at the clouds as soon as she notice it.
