Jasmine 19: The Combat Training

So here it is Chapter 19: The Combat Training, I really really hope you'll like this chapter. I'm trying to improve my writing so.... please comment your reviews and suggestions. I'm open to anything so you could say anything that you want...

Jasmine's POV

             After we recharged from exhaustion of shopping and playing at the Jack-of-all-Trade, we started our training for the duel. We decided to meet at the open ground. Louisa, Kennedy and I were the first to arrive in our meeting place.

            "What's taking them so long?" Kennedy asks referring to Jack and Fred. "They should be here by now." she says irritably while her arms are folded on her chest.

           Under the heat of the sun, the Supernatural beings that are viewable from the bleachers where we are sat are training for the most anticipated duel. Some were hitting the dummies that were scattered at the open ground. Some are fighting with their fellow members and some are fighting with machines that are programmed to automatically fight back.

           "Finally!" Louisa exclaims as she rises. I turned behind me and I saw Fred and Jack going our way. "Hurry up! So we could start." Louisa shouts. The boys look at each other then they both run towards the bleachers where we are seated.

           "Sorry we're late," Fred says bending forward as he catches his breath. "Jack's a heavy sleeper." he pats Jack on the back.

            "I'm not!" Jack said in offense, "I just slept a little longer," he remarks to which I had to raise a brow, "and beside he didn't even care to wake me." He accuses.

            "Okay, let's not fight," Louisa says holding up her hands. "We're training for the duel as a team and I won't allow any fighting, okay?" She looks at them and they nodded in agreement.

             "Sorry." Jack and Fred echoed.

            "Not just to us." She looked at them folding her arms.

             They stare at each other for a quick second before realizing what Louisa mean.

             "Sorry for not waking you up." Fred extended his hand for a shake.

              Jack smiles before taking his best mate's hand for a shake, "It's okay." 

             "We're all set then," I announce. "Let's start." I grabbed Jack towards the field.

             Louisa chose to battle train with the dummy. The dummy she chose is dressed like a merchant with a shoulder length blonde hair, loose metallic green top and tight black slacks. We had tinker on it's back to set the dummies mode of action which is defense and we turn on the four elements fire, water, lightning and wind.

             We are all standing in a safe distance from our dummy. Louisa is the first to throw a ball of fire at the dummy but the fire was rebounded and she use water to extinguish the fire that hit the ground.

             "What am I supposed to do here?" I asks since I don't have any power like them just mind-reading that's all, I felt so lame. Can I mojo a dummy? I thought.

             "You're supposed to know his next move." Louisa says whilst she aimlessly attacks her target which keeps on rebounding all her attempts.
