Louisa 5: The Tree House

             I spent my entire summer vacation enjoying everything that I have. As if everyday is my last day on Earth. Well, literally it well be for a while. I'm moving above Earth's surface, which doesn't makes sense I know. I'm about to see where my parents grew up. Where they studied and where I'm about to study. My Dad is the head of the school. Last night I started packing some clothes because this will be my last seven days on Earth.

            There's a knock on the door. "Come in." I called.

             Chloe poke her head in. "Hey, uhm... Can we have dinner outside?" She came in dressed in a velvet plain red dress, accessorized with a gold chain around her small neck.

            "Sure, just wait here." I walk into the closet and change my clothes. "By the way, who's with us?" I ask while fixing my hair down just above my chest.

          "Beth, Nicole and Jen," she paused briefly. "I'm not sure about Alex." she said gleefully.

           I turn towards her, "Who's Alex?" I ask as I push her out of my room. "I don't know any Alex."

          "That's why you're meeting him." She said dreamily. "He's cute, handsome-"

          "Okay, just give me a sec." I half drag her down the stairs. "I still have to tell Mom."

          "They already said yes." She snaps and drags me out of the front door. "We don't want them to change their minds, do we?"

           The cab stops in front of Chloe's house, it is a two-story modern house, with a balcony, that maybe nice for stargazing since a lot of stars are glittering on the sky now. Maroon colored roof and the white painted exterior wall, a glass mirror at each side of the door. Also there is a dog house at the side under a big tall tree. In between of the wide green lawn is a stone pathway that we walk unto that leads to the front door.

          "Louisa!" Jared cheerfully said like he won at the Olympics as he stood up from the sofa with the others. "Hi!"

          "Hey, I didn't know you'll be here." I told him. "Chloe didn't mention that you're invited." I turned to eye by best friend who just pushes me a little closer towards the football MVP.

         "Well, nice dress by the way." He said with a smirk while Beth and Jenny giggled and slowly turning red.

         "Thanks." I answered with a smile. "Who invited you?" Like I have to ask.

         There's a knock on the door and a tall guy came into view. He has a black heavy waxed hair and he is wearing a black cargo pants and a plain white V-neck shirt and a black leather jacket.

         "Hey, glad you can make it." Chloe approach and kiss him on the cheek. "Lou, this is Alex." She motioned towards the guy. " Alex, that's Louisa, my best friend."

        "Hello." He nonchalantly greeted me. "Hi, everybody." He stepped inside the house one arm wrapped around Chloe's waist.

        "Hey man." He wave at Jared.

        Jared went to his direction they shook hands, "'Sup, man."

         The door bell rung. Chloe opened the door and pizza delivery guy is standing at the door, Chloe paid for the pizza and ushered us inside the dining table that has already been prepared. There's plates and utensils already in place. We took our seat, Jared sits beside me while Chloe's on my other side and Alex beside her, Beth and Jenny sits beside each other. We help ourselves with the pizza as we talk and laugh about jokes, that Jared mostly crack, I don't know that a serious looking guy could have this sense of humor. Which made him all the more cute.
