Louisa's POV

"What?!" Jack exclaimed. "But why, how did this happen?" He sulks helplessly.

"Are they threat to us?" Jasmine ask, though I don't have to answer her verbally since she could read my mind. I did for the sake of the others who can't.

"Yes," I confirm their suspicions. "They are threat not just to us, but for all the mortals they might encounter." I said in fear.

"So, what do we do? Can't we just ask for reinforcement?" Kennedy said in frustration. "How could she join those bullies? Ugh!" Thinking that her sister is part of a rebellion right now must be really frustrating and unbelievable. She sat at the couch scowling.

"We can't. The palace ordered to close all portals." I hold on the railings for support. How can they do this to us? Yeah we're not friends. Why do they have to target the day of our supposed return to Elemental Galaxy as their massive attack to Earth? I mean, it's not that I don't want to help the people out here, it's just that we are not prepared for this.
"No help will come." I repeated for my benefit.

"Reckon you could never be prepared in life." Jasmine answered like she knew what I was thinking. Of course she does, the girl's telepathic. My subconscious reminded.

"The others already went home yesterday." Fred said. I shouldn't had let my stubbornness win yesterday. By now I could be safe with my parents. I could be with them. My friends should had been home by now. "We have to fight them on our own, since we are the only Supernatural beings here. Besides if the palace order to send reinforcements to Earth, we could be exposed to mortals," Fred pauses as if solving the hardest mathematical equation. "Meaning-"

"W-what were you saying?" Jack asks in confusion.

"You're right," I snap without waiting for Fred to repeat himself to Jack. "It's up to us to stop my cousin and her allies."

They all nodded as I laid the plan in the family room, where most of the serious matters were mostly discussed, especially when I break a rule or when I get grounded. The room is equipped with what we need for our discussion. A black marbled table is placed at the center of the room that is surrounded with bookshelves and antiques. At the far end corner a complete set of sofa surrounding a coffee table. We were in a middle of a conversation when an approaching foot step was overheard.

Jared pokes his head in, "Thought you were leaving?" he looked surprise to see me. He look around the room and stop at the other end of the table where our list are laid out. "Having your discussions?" He raised a brow.

I look at him in the eyes, trying to read what's in his mind but he blocked me, 'How could that be possible?' He just stands there, looking very comfortable with his denim jacket over his white V-neck shirt, black slick pants and gray sneakers. Well, maybe because he didn't know about a very serious matter that could not just affect us but also the world.

"What are you doing here?" I ask. "You shouldn't be here, you didn't even knock." I said trying to change the subject. He is a supernatural, but he declined the offer of being one so what's the use of him being here. He would just leave anyway.

"I know, but I went to where you said the teleport— or whatever portal is, but you weren't there." Upon hearing him speak Kennedy, Jack and Fred where on high alert. "Besides maybe it needs a repair or something terrible had happened." He said descriptively. "So I thought, maybe because it's not working you weren't able to leave." He stood there amuse of himself knowing he was right.
