Louisa's POV

          Once again I am back in Jared's tree house.  I inhaled the fresh air that freely passes through the window of the tree house, outside different noises can be heard from below, children's laughter from the nearby playground, vehicles passing by and the soft sound of waves of the ocean. The view never fails to mesmerize me as I look out the window. As I watch the sun as it slowly sinks into the depth of the sea and be replaced by twilight; I took in the scene as if it was my last, the calm flowing water spread before me, a flock of birds that are soaring high on the sky.

         I build up the courage to speak as I stare at the horizon, "I'll be leaving tomorrow." I turn to look at him and saw a trace of sadness on his face. He's sat on his sleeping bag, surrounded by throw pillows holding a book on his lap.

        He stared for a moment before speaking, "Why so soon?" He sounds sad but I cannot answer or I'll be force to tell the truth. A moment had passed before he opens his mouth again, "I'll wait for you till you return, then." Jared assured me as he closes the book he was reading and stood up from the makeshift sofa.
        "Why?" I ask confused. Gosh, I don't even know if I'm coming back. I though. "It may take a long time before I come back." I confess. "Or--"
         He stood beside me by the small window, "Because, I like you." He said softly before reaching for my hand. "So, I'll wait for you." He turned to give me his dimpled smile, "No matter how long." He gently cups my face with his warm hands so I'm staring right onto his eyes. "I'll wait." He repeated and held my hands tight.
          We just stood there for a moment, until I came to my senses and confess, "I'm not sure," I took my hand from his, my action may had surprise him because he furrowed his brows, "I don't know if I'll be able to return." and look down to stare at my shoes.
         "I'll wait." He said firmly as he took my hands to his lips and gave each knuckles a gently kiss, I looked at into his green eyes, "I'll be there when you return. It'll be like no time has passed." He smiles and the image of his slowly fades.

            Suddenly the environment turn bright, "Honey, wake up." Mom cheerfully whispers. Oh that was just a dream, why did I dream about him? Could it be possible? No time or distance can part us? I though as I get up and stretch my back as soon as I could focus my vision, I saw mom opening my curtain. "Take a bath," she turns to look at me, "We're leaving in an hour." Mom told me.

         Without arguing, I went to kiss her and say good morning, then I fix my bed one last time and make my way to the closet to get the outfit I prepared last night, it's a lace dress and an oxford shoes to match it. I glance at Mom she's tidying up my room. I went inside the bathroom and take a shower.

        As soon as I'm done getting dressed. I took my luggage out of my closet containing some clothes and the farewell gifts that are given to me by my friends. I went down stairs and place my stroller beside the ceramic vase under the stairs.

         "Dad, are we still going back?" I ask him though I already knew the answer.

         "Just like what I told you before," he placed a hand on my shoulder, "we don't know what the future holds." He smiles. "Is that all?" He asks pointing at the stroller behind me.

        "No, I have another stroller up stairs." I replied. "I'll just put this in the trunk."

        "Why don't you eat and I'll get your luggage." He told me.
