Louisa's POV
Dad led us to a camp. That is just a thirty minute drive from our camp. Francis, Niall and Clyde was already waiting hundred meters from Morgan's hideout when we arrived. Xavier was left at the nearest camp where the werewolves had set up. Dad had ordered the other members of the council to scout the perimeter. As for me and my friends we had been ordered to collect supplies and build a tent.
As soon as we were done. The werewolves and my friends, settled and rested. Niall looks pinkish now, so is Francis. Clyde and Jasmine are in one corner catching up using a lot of mad hand gestures. Fred glaring at their direction. Kennedy, Jack and Jared are at the center, now fast asleep. An hour had passed Dad and the council hadn't returned.
They are busy. I took the opportunity to sneak towards the perimeter fence that the werewolves has set-up. Binoculars in hand. I peep through it, Morgan is a genius. Her hideout is massive and elegant. Beside the two-story white house, a military tank was parked. At the terrace, Morgan and the remaining supernatural are enjoying a down time. Sipping coke cans and bobbing to the beat of music. Though, her mercenaries are on high alert. Four heavily armed men are on the roof. On the ground, about fifty armed men are scattered.
The terrace has no guards. They won't need it. All of them can fend on their own. Paul, my cousins boyfriend is dancing like crazy on his own. Claire's standing by the bar drinking on her own. Kristee and Davy are no where to be found. Ashley, Kennedy's sister look dreaded when no one's watching. Ethan, the one I danced with on the night of my victory. He's part of Morgan's rebellion, anger surge through me upon seeing his perfect face and pressed suit. Then there's the smell of something burning. I patted the sleeve of my shirt putting out the fire.
"What are you doing here?" Ethan approaches Ashley, who's still lost in the horizon. "You should be celebrating, we already know where Louisa's camp is." He tells her fondly. Then he shakes his head. "Or are you worried about your sister?"
Ashley turns to him in rage, "How dare you!" She exclaims, stopping the party momentarily. "I will never be worried about that nuisance!"
Ethan held his hands up in surrender, "Fine, if you say so," he jerks his shoulder towards her bumping Ashley lightly. "You should join the celebration. We will get our revenge for Bree's death tomorrow."
Revenge? I clinch my fist. What we did to Aubrey is unacceptable, yes. But the weight of their deed is much more than us. We will pay for the death we had caused. So should they. I went back to the camp where all are already fast asleep. A map is now laid out on the floor. It is filled with X marks and lines. Francis must have told them about their own journey.
"Louisa," Dad called as he approaches the council's behind him. "Get your friends." he grabs me by the arm, bent down to look me in the eye. "Now is the time to infiltrate, they are occupied." I nod in agreement and went to where my team is resting.
"Get up!" I speak just loud enough. No one steered. I am known for my impatience. Water flooded the tent, that woke most of them, except Kennedy. I walk through my startled and soaked camp mates. I shake Kennedy's arm. She fluttered her eyes open. "We have to go." I went for the door, "I'm sorry, I had to wake you up." I send air around them until they're dry. "We are called," I look at their sleepy eyes. "There defenses are down, we will attack tonight."
We joined the council who was in depth in conversation when we arrived. Dad gleefully turned towards us, as if we are just going see the super bowl tonight. We are not. We are to end my cousin's reign of terror on Earth. He gestured for us to hurry.
"What took you so long?" He ask. "We had already decided." He announce proudly. "Here, let me run you through our positioning." He gestured us to settle on the mat laid on the ground. We sat with the council who's just about dad's age.
