Louisa's POV

At the courtyard, just behind the Ravensdale mansion in Elemental Galaxy, a party was held. People were wearing glamorous fashion from the 80's. This is a gathering for the elite socialites. Everybody has put on their expensive smiles on their lips. Drinking champagne on the small white tables covered with satin cloth while talking with each other. I hesitate to walk closer, but a waiter just through me, it felt weird did my body just stretch? I stared at my surroundings no one looks at me not even once, like I wasn't there at all.

A horn was played as a cue. Then my father's carriage arrived, he looks young and carefree. He moved his way from a carriage up to the red carpet laid on the steps. His black coat sways with his every move. Everyone acknowledge his arrival with extending hands and applause. He walk pass them, and would only acknowledge the persons that he knew by stopping and giving them hugs and kisses. He went directly to the table where an usher led him to. He patiently sat there as if waiting for someone. Few approach him and he renders small talks. Then he stood up scanning the area, ignoring the woman who was flirting with him. He stalk towards a woman, whose back it turned from me she wearing glittering red dress that shows off her perfect curves. She's looking around like she was looking for someone.

Dad grabs her by the waist and led her towards the dance floor. The people stop and stared at them, they look perfect and my dad was happy, traces of smile never left his beautiful face. Then I realize people are shocked rather than amazed, they acted like it was a mistake for them to be in each other's arms. The couple seems to notice the crowd's reaction but chose to ignore.

The music stopped.

"This is a time for celebration, isn't it?" The emcee's voice echoed over the enthusiastic crowd. He straightens his gray Fedora hat and arranged his silver bow tie. "This world, The Elemental Galaxy," he spread his arms wide open, feeling every moment. "This was built not just to shelter us supernatural beings but also for us to be nurtured, and be prepared to face the world." He fists his hand up to the air as the crowd gave a deafening applause as he said the last word with delight. "Now, let us start this program with the theme," He stalk towards the wall and reach the white cloth with his long fingers. "Supernatural beings: Not hiding, never exposed, yet still existing." The audience cheered. "Now, now, now, what do we say of that huh?" The emcee placed his hands on his hip. "This will be the first time that we'll hear him. It is with great pride and pleasure, that I introduce to you, the crowned prince— His majesty Emerson Ravensdale." The emcee steps down of the stage as soon as he finished speaking.

Dad walks his way from the dance floor up to the podium. "Thank you." The applause from the crowd halts. "A wise man once told me, that nothing is impossible, the word impossible only applies to those who think so, but, in reality everything is possible. Ladies and Gentlemen, good evening." He ran his fingers through his dark hair. "Today's theme says about us, supernatural beings, no longer afraid of the world outside our circle— our comfort zone." Dad's voice ripples through the attentive crowd. Almost forgetting that seconds ago they thought it to be inappropriate for him to dance. "If just maybe, we learn how to cope with the changes, men are sensible beings. Just like us, if they could change their thoughts why can't we? Maybe if we just do— our life now," he paused stressing the last word. "Maybe life could be different, maybe a little better. For now Supernatural beings, no longer hiding, and never exposed, but still existing, is nothing but a theme." He stopped to savor the reaction of the crowd. Some stares blankly at him, some are nodding as if in agreement and some seem to be indifferent. "But if we start now, not later, not tomorrow, but at this very moment. We could make this happen." The crowd applauded at the end of the speech. "Thank you. Enjoy the night everyone."
