JASMINE's POV

This place is massive, beautiful and amazing, but is it all in the outside? What difference does it make from where I came from? Do I belong here? Perhaps the humiliation earlier is a message that I don't. Back home I've been treated as a freak, an outsider. My own family disowned me at a very young age. From there on I started my foster home journey and I blamed it all because of my weirdness. People in here says it's extraordinary, but should I listen to them? My family says I'm evil, cursed yet here they say I'm valuable?

This people around me, here in this very room had somehow accepted me. This people has given me home, but I still get the same treatment that I get from my own world. It's a bit understandable, why would they treat me any differently when my own people, my family have treated me any better? Which I can't help but wonder was it a good idea in the first place to leave one hell and transfer to this place? Or was it the right thing to do? The first hour I was here had been horrible. I already had a tour at the King's office for an offense, but the good thing is that the princess was there to defend me from the bully. Will she still be there for me next time? Will there be a next time? I hope not.

"You're such a loser!" The blond girl yelled at me. Her voice took the attention of passerby's. "You don't belong here, why don't you just pack up and leave!" She looked at her friends behind who are now laughing. "Oh, look she's about to cry," She raised her hand, about to banish me, maybe. Her friends are thinking I'm a 'cry baby'. People my age and older, did not try to interrupt. I silently prayed for help. "Why did I say something bad? Mundane!"

"Stop that!" A girl with long black hair bolted in. The blond girl stopped and turned to face the source of the voice. Apparently they've met before. The two don't seem to be in good terms either. They were sizing up each other, moments had past when His majesty jolted in. Furiously screaming inquiring of the commotion. He then turned to ask me, 'Who started the fight?' he says. I could not make myself speak. That girl. The on wearing a pink over-all. I thought whilst eyeing the blonde. He then invited us into his office. I was so scared that immediately I thought, I'll lost my new home again. I've just got here. They are sending me back. I though as I fidget the hem of my shirt.

"Hey," a bronde girl elbows me bringing my attention back to the dining hall. "You okay? Is something wrong?" I turn towards the podium in front where my saviour Louisa is being introduced to the wild crowd. I turn my attention to Kennedy, "Yes." I answered uneasily. "I'm okay."

The crowd finally halts the deafening welcome applause for the princess. The King said we may return to our room and rest for the night. Louisa gracefully went down the platform. A lot of people hurried out of the dining area. Kennedy grabs my hand and together we wiggle our way towards the exit.

"Wait!" Louisa stumbles from the crowd, luckily we caught her on time. She bends down gasping for air, her one hand on her kneecap, the other placed on her chest not princess-like at all. "You... fast."

"You okay?" Kennedy asks whilst patting her back.

Louisa managed a smile, "Let's go!" She straightens her back and lead us the way.

Louisa lead us towards the open ground and we walk around, but it's too dark so she held out her hand, a tiny speck of fire appeared. Kennedy steps back as did I, but then Louisa said. "It's okay, I won't hurt you." I examine the area, there's light in the farmhouse, a horse stable on one side filled with horses and the crops at the back of the farmhouse. Since the air is cold, we decided to go back to our room before someone catches us here, and besides I don't want another trip to the King's office. This is just my first night.
