F/N's perspective

F/N: "So, things are looking good for the mission moving forward."

Najenda: "Indeed. All the scout's reports are coming in green, particularly after the incidents last night. We'll carry out the operation on the day of the church's foundation celebration."

Najenda said to all present members of Night Raid, the only ones not here in the temporary hideout were IG, Bulat, and Sheele, all of them tasked with guarding Bols if he tried to escape or someone came after him. Though this fact did rub me the wrong way, it was something I would have to deal with for now.

Leone: "Really going out with a bang."

Najenda: "Yes, the chaos of the festival will be all that we need to infiltrate the palace. Then we go in for the kill and begin the final moments of this tyrannical government. Our failure here is not acceptable."

I and the others nodded in agreement. We knew what this meant, that soon all our labor's would bear fruit, though, we couldn't do all this on an empty stomach as Susanoo walked into the meeting room, arms filled with dishes plenty.

Susanoo: "Food is ready, everyone, and I pulled out all the stops today. Is everyone ready to have their minds blown?"

The room erupted into cheers from most members at the sight of top-quality meals that the Imperial Arm handed out to us. Najenda got ramen, and Mine was delivered a strawberry parfait. Next was Lubbock and his Bohai lobster sashimi; Leone got some oden and a lot of saké. Then there was Akame and her small mountain of meats, which was dwarfing the supple salad that found its way to Chelsea's plate. As for Tatsumi and me, we weren't that picky......so instead of something lavish and looked like it belonged on some high-class restaurant's menu, we got what amounted to his kid's meal.

F/N: "....I-I mean, I know I said I wasn't picky, but I didn't think I'd be getting a kiddy meal."

I said, gently poking the small dessert cup with my fork, a slight snicker to my left making my heart drop more as Mine elbowed me a little.

Mine: "Well, it does suit you."

She said as I pouted and gave her a sideways glance.

F/N: "And after all the clothes I bought you today, you still tease me. How cold."

Mine snickered a little more before moving on to her meal, Najenda rolling her eyes a little as she addressed the group.

Najenda: "I had Susanoo make everyone's favorite dish. So please chow down; you're going to need your energy."

She said before everyone but her, Chelsea and I began to gobble down their meals like pack dogs.

F/N: "I forget who I live with sometimes...

Chelsea: "Yes, at least you have one redeeming quality still."

She said, giving me a slightly nasty look before eating her salad. A ting of anger flickered in my chest, only to be snuffed out instantly by the massive belch that left Akame as she had eaten all the meat in no time flat.

Tatsumi: "I will never get used to that."

F/N: "Yeah...

I muttered, the previous anger subsiding as something more foreboding fell over me. With a flown, I pushed my chair back and got from my seat after eating my meal.

F/N: "Lovely as always Susanoo, I'm going get ready for the mission."

Stating before I left, walking through the halls and into my chambers, before beginning to get into the disguise. Though even as I threw on the leather jacket, the feeling only grew, my right hand drifting over to my left arm as I ran my hand up and down it, letting out a sigh before my door opened behind me. Looking back, I noticed Mine standing there in a punk girl outfit with a long purple wig and a hefty amount of makeup slathered over her face.
