Mine's perspective
My body aches as I look up. Sheele struggles in the grip of the Imperial Arm, her own lying on the floor at the beast's feet.
Mine: "Sheele!"
I watched as the beast raised her body over its gaping maw of teeth, the Imperial arm user laughing and yelling about justice being served. I tried to get up, but my wounds burned and I could only look on as Sheele was about to be eaten..... before a battle cry came out of the treeline. Piercing the night as a streak of blue appeared.
F/N: "Haaaaaa!"
Out of the tree's F/N leaped, his saber in hand as he slashed at the monster. The beast letting out a roar of pain as the arm that held Sheele was cut off at the elbow, dropped to the ground. F/N quickly turning his saber off as Sheele fell, catching her in his arms before sprinting towards me. Skillfully kicking up Sheele's Imperial arm with his foot, letting it drag from his ankle. I was able to get to my feet despite the pain, Pumpkin strapped to my back as he stopped in front of me. The Imperial arm roars out as it tries to recover from the attack.
F/N: "Get her out of here!"
Mine: "F-F/N...
Echo: "Code names! Now go!"
I nodded a bit, A feeling swelling in my chest as I took my friend in my arms, Echo resting the massive scissors on her chest. The bullet wound staining her sternum with blood. He gave me a nod before turning to face the Imperial arm alone.
Mine: "You better make it back ok dumbass!"
I said before turning and running as fast as I could, looking back to see Echo facing down by the massive beast, Imperial guards running from side streets, responding to our earlier fight.
Mine: (You better be ok.........)
F/N's perspective
After getting Mine out of harm's way with the injured Sheele. I turned back to the beast I was going to face off with or more appropriately, making a fighting retreat from.
F/N: "Come on! I'm right here!"
I banged the front of my chest plate getting Coro to glare down at me before charging, the severed limb still twitching. Yelling from the side gave me notice of the ever growing situation, glancing over to see Suryu looking at me in anger as her companion missed its first attack against me. Being a charge which I just dove between its legs, cutting a sizable wound into his left leg.
Suryu: "You won't escape my justice!"
F/N: "Oh this is totally justice!"
F/N: (And to think she was nice...... damn it why does this make this so complicated!)
I thought as I had to jump out of the way of Coro's clawed arm before taking several small arms fire from the guards, a few having said firearms and others charged in with pikes. Moving away from the beast as it tried to regain it's balance. I took on the guards, doing my best to ignore Suryu due to whatever other tricks she had up her sleeve. Rounds bounced off my armored suit as I sprinted.
The guards with pikes going in for stabs were quickly ended as I cut their weapons in half, then swiftly ending their lives with a slash each, though what disgusted me was how a few were killed by their own comrades who kept firing their weapons, no regard for those in melee.
But they would be quickly dealt with as I pulled a thermal det from my waist and primed it, the beeping sounding off with the increasing gunfire, a few shots glancing at the exposed under suit, leaving bloody stings. Though I couldn't help but smirk as I threw it at them. The det hit the ground and rolled to the middle of the group before detonating.
