F/N's perspective

I was sitting in my room after last night's mission. Bandages wrapped around my wounds. Slowly putting a shirt on, I looked over when a knock came at my door.

F/N: "Who is it?"

Akame: "Can I come in?"

F/N: "Oh, ya. Doors unlocked."

Wincing a bit as I pulled the shirt down, I looked over to see Akame walk in.

Akame: "How are you feeling?"

F/N: "Fine I guess, wounds still hurt."

Akame nodded and went to reach out from my nearest arm but I held up my hand.

F/N: "Just redid the bandages, I'll live Akame."

Akame: "Alright, I just came to check on your wounds, but if you say their good."

She turned to leave which confused me a bit.

F/N: "Wait so you're not going to check them anyway?"

Akame: "No, I trust you to treat your own wounds."

F/N: "Oh....

I felt a warm feeling spread through my chest as she said that, she trusted me enough.... though I had to ask something.

F/N: "Akame, can I ask you something."

Akame nodded as she turned to face me, though I did see the slightest freeze when I asked her my question.

F/N: "The person you saw....... it was your sister, wasn't it?"

Akame looked at me for a couple moments before tilting her head down, her bangs covering her eyes.

Akame: "You saw her die, like the rest....... was I?"

F/N: "I don't know, I only got flashes..... Akame."

I stand up and walk over to her placing a hand on her shoulder lightly.

F/N: "I'll do what I can to help her, I know you still care for her."

Akame: "Do you mean it?"

She said looking up, a slight tinge of hope in her eyes. Her normal emotionless facade broke for just this moment. I simply gave her shoulder a little squeeze as I nodded.

F/N: "I do, and I'm not sure if it matters in this world, but I promise it on the river Styx."

Akame placed a hand over mine and gave me the faintest of smiles.

Akame: "Thank you, now you have training soon, so you should eat."

F/N: "Right."

Akame took her hand off mine as I let my arm drop. She left not a moment later, her face going back to its emotionless look as I grabbed my jacket, slinging it over my shoulders with a slight wince. We walked into the kitchen and saw some of the one of the others already there.

Lubbock: "Hey you two, Akame can you whip something up?"

Akame didn't really respond and just headed to the kitchen and put in her apron. Myself? I just took a seat next to Lubbock as the boss and Leone walked in.

Nejenda: "Ah F/N your up."

F/N: "Ya, I feel better."

Leone: "What a shame."

She didn't look at me and sat down, grabbed an apple that was on the table and took a bite out of it. The boss looked at me, giving me the same look as before, to which I sighed.
