F/N's perspective

The dark night sky was clear as I watched Tatsumi sit in front of the graves of his friends. The moon shining upon him. I didn't look back as a pair of footsteps walked up beside me, I merely glanced to the side to see Sheele stand next to me. She gave me a slight side glance before we both watched Tatsumi sit there for a bit.

F/N: "You should talk to him."

Sheele: "But-

F/N: "Just trust me on this."

Sheele nodded slightly before walking forward, getting ten feet from him before speaking. I didn't get closer, seeing as what I said in the meeting would probably just sour our friendship more than I already have.

Sheele: "Tatsumi, you ok?"

Tatsumi: "I thought, maybe they could return, and it made me happy. Even if the odds were low, I could hope... but I guess F/N was right.... I guess it really is goodbye."

Then his shoulders slumped and I could only assume he was beginning to cry as his voice cracked a bit as he spoke.

Tatsumi: "They really are gone..... I failed them.....

He started to cry more before I saw Sheele pull him back into a hug, letting him rest in her lap as she tried to make him feel better. Taking this as the best chance I could get, as I started to make my way over to them.

Sheele: "I'll keep this a secret from everyone, so cry as much as you like."

Tatsumi: "Is it really okay? For you to be this easy on me?"

F/N: "Probably not, but who cares."

Tatsumi: "F/N?"

Crouching down, I ruffled up his hair a bit as I looked up at the moon.

F/N: "I know what I said back there was harsh, but I didn't mean to hurt you in anyway, sometimes people just have to..... grow up from childish views.... fucking hell I sound like my dad."

Tatsumi chuckled a little, a few tears still falling down his cheeks, laying in Sheele's lap. We sat there for a while, just looking at the moon and stars while Tatsumi let his emotions out. After a while though, he struck up a question that was a bit personal for me.

Tatsumi: "Well, I think you're the only one I don't know most about. What was your life like before coming to the Empire F/N?"

F/N: "Well.... it had its ups and downs. I went to school, hung out with friends, came home and worked on a hobby, my mom was the nicest person. She was always so supportive, encouraging me to do things I enjoyed. My father was the opposite, gruff, mean, caring about his lineage, how my hobbies distracted me from being successful..... never could really read him...

Sheele: "That sounds mostly peaceful."

Tatsumi: "Ya..... why would you leave that?"

I let out a sigh, looking at them both, the flashes of their deaths crossing my mine before I gazed back towards the moon. I thought back on the decision I had made coming here.

F/N: "I guess...... I saw an injustice in this world, one that I think I could help stop. I don't regret my decision coming here, not yet at least."

Tatsumi hums a bit at my answer. We stayed there for a little longer before getting up and heading back inside. Now with all of us feeling better, gaining something from the experience. Moving into my room, my eyes landed on the assassin droid still in the corner. Moving over to it, I started to look it over.

The head still had the blaster hole burned through one of its many photoreceptors, it was banged up in other places, but mostly intact.

F/N: "......I can probably do something with you.... but not starting on that tonight."
