There was an idea to have this be a prequel to my Caged Series. After thinking about it though, I've decided against it mainly due to the fact that Horror isn't a Bad Sans anymore and it wouldn't tie into the end. Lo siento! It was a great idea though!

We dropped Killer off in Asylumtale to get treated for both his physical and mental wounds. We couldn't give them a chance to replace Killer, so we decided the final attack would be early tomorrow. We started preparations immediately. Recharging our magic and what not. Carrot grew curious when Horror and I disappeared. "hey where's blue?" Ink came in, mixing some paints. "horror is gone too." Dream opened his sockets as the glowed a bright yellow. "they went outside." Carrot turned to the door, deciding to see what they were doing. I bridged and flipped as Horror's ax whizzed past me. I landed firmly on the ground, twirling my hatchet before throwing it at him. He ducked out of the way and a used the distraction to get closer, only to end up rolling out of the way as his ax came down on where I was. I tried to trip him, but he caught my leg, pulling me upside-down. I kicked my other foot, knocking him in the throat. He let go coughing as I gained purchase and kneed him in the ribs. Very soon, he was pinned by his own ax. "yield, yield!" I pulled away, dropping the ax and holding a hand out for him to take. He took the offer and I pulled him up. "you are ready." He assured me, which is why I'd asked for a training session to begin with. I smiled, believing him as I grabbed my hatchet.

As we walked in, Horror went for the shower. Carrot, Dream, and Ink were staring. "Uh.. yes?"
"watching you beat the crap outta horror was so satisfying." Carrot gave a mile wide grin. Of course they'd watched each other fight before. They knew each other's moves fairly well, and knew how powerful they were. But that training session was ubber satisfying. I rubbed my neck. "Well.. I just wanted to make sure I was ready.. you know?" This was it. I couldn't afford to screw up. Carrot patted my shoulder. "i getcha. but with only cross and dust against the three of us, it'll be easy peasy." Of course, Carrot knew better than to underestimate the enemy, he was just trying to comfort his brother. I stared at the hatchet still in my hands. The blade was sharp as ever, with chips in it from years of use against monsters. There was still a few spatters of blood stained to the weapon. I was so used to this old thing, I don't think I could ever stop using it after 16 years. But.. "I have one more thing I need to do before the final fight."

🌑🌒🌓🌕🌔🌖🌗🌘

A patterned hatchet hit Dust's shoulder before he could dodge. It was hard. Now he knew how Blueberry felt. Cross abandoned them after Killer's disappearance. Now it was just him versus Horror, Carrot, and the reincarnate himself. They weren't actually trying to kill him though. Bitter had been so SET on killing Killer. Why not Dust too? He didn't get it. He shot bones at the group while he pulled out Bitter's hatchet. He teleported as a blaster went off. Worst of all, they were caught COMPLETELY off guard. Licking their wounds in some emptied out au or another. Cross snapped about Nightmare not keeping his end of the deal and portalled out. Then these guy's showed up and shit hit the fan. 'I can't keep up with all three of them! Damn that doubling Crossing-' Dust was interrupted by more blaster fire.. only it was protecting him? "that's not very fair.. one against three. how about three more!" Cross appeared with three other Sanses overwritten and fighting for us. Outer, Classic, and Red. How the fuck did he get them?!
"oh-"
"OUT OF THE WAY!"

🌑🌒🌓🌕🌔🌖🌗🌘

I barely had time to protect myself as the three fired their blasters at me. The wall of bones was barely strong enough, and looked ready to crumble when their first attack was done. I knew Cross was up to something. I highly doubt he would abandon his soul to Error. Ink was working to get it back before Error was sealed, but that meant distracting the five of them. Not to mention three of the five were neutral and shouldn't be in this war. So Now I had to be careful. I need to break them out of Cross' control. I darted out for an attack, but the controlled attacked first. I found myself dodging bones, blasters, and getting thrown in blue soul attacks. "classic-" I fired my own blasters. While I was distracting the controlled, the other to went back to attacking Dust and Cross. Brilliant, really. I fired around them, while they focused on me. Of course, I was getting hit, a lot more than they were. Thank stars I had the hp for this. "got it!" Ink cried. "g-g-i-iv-e th-a-a-at!"
"nope!"
"He's got Cross' soul!" Cross' head snapped at me. "what..?"
"ink's got your soul. you're free." Carrot replied as Horror and Dust fought. Cross released the others from his hold. "then let's end this."
