Going back home was kind of a relief. It was a familiar place at least with hardly any drama. Murdering others for food doesn't count since it's a daily occurrence. I got my hatchet back too. I was safe from Nightmare once more, for the time being. Emphasis on the for the time being. He had plans. I could tell that much, but his teeth were sealed. Father could feel it too. He'd been keeping close. "pap, we're home.." Father called. Uncle poked his head out of the kitchen. "SANS, BITTER! THANK THE STARS, YOU WERE GONE LONGER THAN USUAL!"
"Just a longer job, Uncle, no need to worry. I don't know about you, but I'm exhausted. I'm going to bed." I bid a quick goodnight before heading to my bedroom. I yawned as I closed the door. The emotional strain of the last two days was weighing heavily on me and my back was getting a bit bothersome. It's not like I could reach back there and heal my vertebrae though. I stripped out of my old clothes and took a shower, hoping the water would help some and to try and get my mess of thoughts together. So.. I was the reincarnated doppelganger of the Underswap Sans named Blueberry, my father killed my in my past life, my brother and friends have no clue about this, and Nightmare is planning something bad. Great. I groaned. That's a lot to learn in two days time.🌑🌒🌓🌕🌔🌖🌗🌘
"You're dreaming again, it seems." Blueberry smiled his usual smile. "What is your secret? How are you always smiling?" I asked. "You know the answer to that." I hated when he did that. "Ok, ok.. why am I back here?" Blue shrugged. "Beats me, I didn't bring you here." I looked around. I felt danger nearby. "Blue we-" Blue was smiling that same old smile, but his eyelights had blacked out. There was a huge gaping hole in his skull. It looked like it was made by an ax. There was a puncture in his shirt/armor as well. Right in the center of his back and another in his pants, just above the knee. "B-blue..?" I backed away in fear. "HE'S COMING." He's.. coming..? "W-what does that.." I bumped into something. I looked back to see the rabbit, those dogs, and other victims of mine. They were saying the same thing as Blue. "He's.. Coming... He's.... Coming..... He's...... Coming......." They poored into the bedroom through the door and window. My only thought was to hide in the closet as they grew louder and louder. "He's Coming! HE'S COMING! HE'S COMING! HE'S COMING!" They went dead silent as I opened the door. "He's here.." Something lunged at me from the shadows.

I screamed before I could try to muffle it. Who's coming? What's going on, I'm in danger? I don't sense it, I don't smell it, I don't see it. Is it a wolf in sheep's clothing? Someone I trust? "bitter!" Don't touch me! "IT IS OK BITTER!" Don't Touch Me! They reached my side and I panicked, summoning my hatchet. "DON'T TOUCH ME!" I snapped, swinging. Father pulled Uncle out of the way just in time. "..." I drew ragged shaking breaths as I tried to calm down. "it was just a nightmare, kid.."
"There is.. there is nothing here to harm you, Bitter.." Uncle was a bit out of it himself, nearly getting a hatchet to the skull. "I-" almost killed Uncle.. I curled into a fetal position, scared both for myself and of myself. "I- I'm so sorry.." I started to sob. Ever so hesitantly Uncle touched my shoulder. I flinched, but allowed it. "It is alright, Bitter, it is ok.. I know you mean no harm.."
"it'll be ok, son.. i won't let anything happen."
"don't make promises you can't keep, Horror."
