Chapter 15 - Disappear and Reappear

All of my body was hurting, no wonder, I haven't work out in ages. As I was scratching my head there was a knock on the door "Yeah? I'm up" I said, Leo barged inside and sat down on my bed "So... how was it?" He asked with a grin, I punched his shoulder softly "Tiring" I replied getting up from my bed, "That's it? Well, that's not fun at all!" He complained crossing him arms, I laughed "What do you expect? I managed to control every chant I found in that book?", Leo shrugged him shoulders and said "Go take a shower, we need to improve your fighting skills" Leo threw me a towel and grinned as he went outside the room.

I took a shower after that I scanned Giselle's wardrobe for something sporty, I found nothing so I wore something feminine as I opened the door, Leo was going to knock. He stared at my outfit "You're going to wear that?" He asked rising his right eyebrow, I nodded as a reply "That won't work, stay here." Leo commanded. He came back with sweatpants and a t-shirt "Here." He said giving me the outfit, "Where did you dug this up?" I teased "Heeey, those are mine, thank you very much." He replied putting his hands on his hips. I laughed and closed the door to wear the clothes Leo gave me.

"Now, that's more like it. You're ready to train!" Leo said excited then he continued "So, Angie. Today you'll be training with me.", my eyes widen "Alright then, what are we gonna do?" I asked looking up to his face "You'll see" Leo said smirking. What's up with these guys and surprises? I don't like it, creeps me out. Leo led me down to his galaxy room "Today we are going to know how fast you travel." Leo said switching the lights "Come again?" I asked feeling unsure "How well you travel. You know like vanished and appeared in another place. Some kind of teleporting, yeah that's it. Teleporting." Leo explained.

Leo approached me and put his hands on my shoulders "No need to be nervous, Angie. You got this." He noted with a smile, I gave him a weak smile and followed him to the center of the room "All you have to do is..." before Leo could finished his sentence he was gone in a blink of a eye then he reappeared by opening the door from the outside "Holy...." I whispered to myself.

"Okay, so just stand here and focus. Think of your jewel and you destination, don't think about anything else or something bad with happen" Leo warned me then he said "Try to think of Giselle's room", I closed my eyes and thought about a very feminine room I've been staying for the past few days as I opened my eyes, I did it, I teleported.

I couldn't help but grin then Leo appeared with a smile "It's not that hard, right?" "Can I, like, go to Paris and other places???" I asked excitedly, Leo laughed "You can even travel in different dimensions, Angie." Leo messed up my hair and said "But not now, just the simple ones first"

I nodded and we ended up practicing my teleporting skill in every room I know at the Institute. "Leo, can I try further?" I asked him when we got to the backyard he raised his eyebrow and smiled "Where do you want to go?" "I don't know, your choice" I said grinning then Leo took both my hands in his and we both closed out eyes as I opened them I was in awed.

Bright lights everywhere, tall buildings, there was a big palace like the one I saw in Crystal Empire but this one is not as big, on top the of the palace was a yellow coloured diamond shaped jewel "Welcome to the Allnat Empire" Leo said with a weak smile. We walked down a road side by side, it was quiet. "Where is everybody?" I questioned looking around and Leo sighed "Probably hiding in their homes from Glitches, they like to come out of the blue" we walked inside the palace and the was two thrones. As we walked, we came across a big tapestry who pictured a King, a Queen and their gingered hair Prince. I glanced at Leo and his face were showing pain. I leaned my head to Leo's shoulder and whispered "I know how it feels, Leo. You're not alone in this"

Leo sighed "Thanks, Angie" I looked at him and he gave me a weak smile "C'mon, I wanna show you my very manly room" he exclaimed pulling me. We stopped in front of a wooden door that had stars on it, Leo opened the door and inside were a very adorable room. It had the same star pictures like on the door, blue walls and a bed with a big star doll that got a cute smiley face on it, I giggled "Very manly indeed"

The room didn't have a ceiling, it a big window that makes the skies visible from inside, I was in awed as I watched the clouds rolled by through little Lionel's room. Leo threw himself to the bed and said "I miss this", now I know why he got that galaxy room.

"You know, my mom used to sang me lullaby while I watched the skies" he said softly let out a sigh, I sat down on his bed and he got up. "Manly, right?" He said with a grin, I laughed then someone knocked on the door "Come in" Leo said opening the door and a middle aged man was in front us.

"Lionel." The man greeted with a nod then Leo replied "Uncle Thomas" "Who might this young lady be?" Uncle Thomas pointed his eyes at me with a smile "This is Ang...I mean, Eve. Evangeline Sapphire Bleu" Leo introduced me and his Uncle shook kissed the back of my hand "I am King's Stephan's Brother in other words Lionel's uncle" "Nice to meet you, sir" I gave him a nod.

"So, sweatpants and t-shirts?" Uncle Thomas questioned scanning me "C'mon, Uncle, manners. I'm teaching Angie here how to teleport so might as well show her the place" Leo laughed putting his arm around me. Uncle Thomas gave us a smirk while his eyes were locked on Leo's arm around me then his eyebrows went up and down. "No, Uncle. No just no. Angie and I..." before Leo could finish his sentence, Uncle Thomas burst laughing and said "Let's eat"

We walked to a huge dining room, Uncle Thomas kept asking me questions about how Leo behave in the institute and told me Leo's embarrassing childhood moments. We ate while we chat and as we're done, nature was calling so I went to the toilet or the british said it "The Loo" and on my way I bumped into a guard.

I mumbled "Oh sorry" then suddenly his eyes turned red and sharp teeth were in front of my face "SHAPESHIFTER?! REALLY?!" I ran away but the shapshift turned to a cheetah "Couldn't you wait until I took a shit?! For fuck's sake, man!" I complained while throwing light chant at it so it will make its vision blurry. I ran around the palace not knowing where I'm going and as I got into a dead end, I panted and the cheetah shapeshiter were just ready to jump at me, I closed my eyes, thought of a place and vanished.
