Thought you were my ride or die
But you gave up and said goodbye
One problem to face, and you left, why?
When you said you loved me, was it a lie?
And no matter what I try
I can't forget your smile, sweet and shy
On Sundays you made me apple pie
To help me sleep, you sung a lullaby
My heart you will always occupy
But when you said you loved me it was a lie
Because there is no other way to justify
The way you just got up and said goodbye

Another monorhyme poem! This is another one based on a story in my head. Two lovers, whose relationship looked perfect to all, including one from the pair. Until the other left. Now, the first is left alone to wonder if the happiness was an illusion, if their perfect love was ever love.
P.S. Please vote and comment!
