* small collection of 2-stanza poems*

-i-

Every time I see him, my heart beats so fast

Every time I think of us, I really hope it lasts

What is this that I'm feeling?

Whatever it is, it's got me reeling

His deep voice strums my heartstrings

His loud laugh makes me grow wings

I'm terrified and ecstatic at the same time

We've done nothing wrong, yet it feels like a crime

-ii-

The damage has already been done

There is nothing left to be won

Under the horizon dips the sun

And I'm sorry, but we've lost hun

Thought I'd shoot my shot, but I lost the gun

While the dream lasted, it was fun

It'll be alright, says the nun

I can't hear anything, just want to run

-iii-

Splotches of ink

In blue, black, and pink

All over my hands

From crafting distant lands

Black pencil dust

Result of the lust

For shaded sketches

And faded edges
