It's the beginning of a brand new era
Wear your best dress, put on your mascara
Spin the bottle on all your fears
Yes it may cost you some tears
But, that's how all adventures begin
That's how all your battles you win
Our dreams are standing right there
These opportunities are so rare
The past is just writing on the shore
Let the sea take it, you'll get so much more
Everything you've wanted to do
Just do it now, this is your cue
Work toward those grades, that new routine
Writing a book or being more green
Walk toward what you're waiting for
Try something you've never done before
So when the clock hits 12 tonight
Start running and take flight
And now that it's finally here,

Today's the last day of 2021! I can't believe 2021 is over already, here I am, still partially stuck in 2020! But, I truly believe 2022 is going to be a better year than the last two. So I wrote an optimistic, motivating poem, something that would perhaps add to the 'New year, New me' feeling that often starts building up in these last couple weeks. 2021 hasn't been the best, but it has had some amazing parts too. I published this book on the 19th of November this year, and it's by far the best decision I've ever made. We've already crossed 800 reads, all thanks to you guys. And 2022 holds even more. So let's all try something new, step out of our comfort zone, and take a few risks this year, because it is these that add spice to our otherwise routine life. We've had enough boredom these last few years I think.
