Fraud

I told you glory days wouldn't come

Now you get drunk on cheap rum

Nothing ever comes from cheating and fraud

Now you're morose at the downfall of your façade

Your shiny friends all moved on from you

She truly loved you but you were untrue

Family was who you betrayed first

Out of all their wealth you coerced

Now not a soul trusts you

You have no where to go to

Tell me what came out of this anyway?

All you can do is run away

From what you've done, your fate

Tell strangers stories you fabricate

I warned you that the karma will come

And to your own sins you will succumb

This one is based on a story about a man who got rich by cheating people out of their money. For a while, he was successful, his wealth brought him fame and he frequently interacted with high society and made many new celebrity friends. Until it all came crashing down, and he was exposed. Suddenly, everyone left, including his closest family, friends, and wife. He was left miserable and alone, and spent what little money was left on drinks in bars, where he'd tell strangers the story of his life, altered to make him look like a pitiable man who lost his wealth due to cruel fate, and had greedy friends and relatives, who left him the second he became penniless
