Nixie's POV:
"Dang it! Is this what school is all about?!" I raised both my hands and feet in the air as I was laying down on my bed. I proceeded to waving my limbs around like a child having tantrums. "Gah! School is so booooring! Too many lessons! Too many rules and regulations! And now I got assignments to do out of school?! What bullcrap is that?! Kohdor and I are not always in the same classes so that was great! Grrrr! I'll die of boredom!"
I stopped wiggling like a fish out of water, "The only good thing about this is that Akio makes us this delicious food. I'm hoping she'll cook for us every day. Also, that Benji!" I placed a hand on my forehead covering the red mark. "I'm glad he goes to the same art classes as I do. I feel like we're going to get along really well..." I grinned and looked way more evil than I was planning for.
School, so far, sucks for me. Especially when every dang hour, a flying book, or whatever object, threatens to hit me on the back of the head! I couldn't find who's doing that back at RAD but I swear if I catch that little shit, I'll ask them why first then break their dang wrist before they can even answer. Honestly, of all freshmen, why is that asshole targeting just me?! Good thing I got a great reflex though.
I tried ringing Kohdor but his DDD was off. "Come the frick on, K." I need someone to talk to. It just can't wait for tomorrow. That's it. I'm going to his room. It's 12a.m. and knowing him, he must be sleeping already. Thankfully I don't care.
I snuck out of my room, it's dark. I'm guessing Simeon or Solomon turned the lights off. The coast is clear but I still tiptoed my way to Kohdor's room. I quietly opened his room door and my eyes immediately scanned the area where the bed should be. My eyes adjusted in the dark and can now vaguely see his silhouette. He had his back turned to the door. I can somewhat see his long hair. Yep! I'm right, this is definitely Kohdor's room.
Oh, did I not mention? I kind of forgot which room was his but I'm glad I wasn't wrong with my guess.
I, of course, thought it would be a good idea to scare him. Because why wake someone normally, like a normal person would? Pft. So, I tried my hardest to not make any kind of sound while I tiptoed to get closer to him. All of a sudden, he spun around to look at me. It's... It's not Kohdor.
Kamal is looking at me, horrified. I don't think he recognizes me. Ah, Nixie you done goofed. I can see Kamal started to shake like he saw a ghost in the dark. Shoot! I quickly backed away and searched for the light switch. I turned on the light and looked back at him. He wasn't on his bed anymore. He's already curled up in the corner of his room. Hiding his face. I ran to him.
"Kamal. It's just me. Nixie." I squatted in front of him. I didn't say a word and just let it sink to him. He started to move, and slowly looked at me. His eyes gradually identified me. "N-Nixie..." He sounded like he was unsure.
But I stayed quiet and let him calm down on his own. He quickly fixed himself. Looking around in embarrassment now. His shirt was soaked in sweat.
Wait... what's that I see? He got a few scars on his neck. And they look like they were done with something sharp.
"Goodness... I thought you were someone else. I-I was having a bad dream..."
"Are you okay? Do you need water?"
"Ah n-no. I'm good. Don't worry..." he smiled. Or should I say, tried to.
I just stared at him, it's probably quite impolite. But I was thinking if I should ask or just let it be for now. I chose the latter. I sighed, "I'm sorry. I thought this was Kohdor's room..." I stood up and turned around. I really don't know how to deal with this but I spun around to face him and reached into my pocket.
