Nixie's POV:

After Solomon checked up on us, he left us and asked us to go back to sleep soon.

"KD... I hope you're not taking it personally. I'm sure she didn't mean to do that."

"...I know..." Man, he sounds so down. "I just... I'm upset that I can't do anything about it, you know?"

I patted his back then caressed it. I'm upset too, not really knowing how to cheer him up. And worried about Akio. I just really feel something bad happened to her. Something really despicable.

Then I remembered coming to Diavolo's office and seeing him put away my files. Her files must be there too. I gotta get it no matter what...

Kohdor then rubbed his chest and I noticed bruises? No, one huge bruise covering his chest! It was hard to see if you didn't look closely because of his tattoos. But there is no doubt that he has a huge ass bruise on his chest.

"KD. What the fuck is that?" I felt my eyes opening wide. He looked at me. "What do you mean?"

"Dude your chest! It's bruised!"

"...Oh... Yeah... That ball you threw at me..."

"Why the fuck weren't you saying anything about it?!"

"I... I didn't think it would get this bad..."

"Christ, Kohdor!" I exclaimed disappointedly at him.

I managed to drag him to my room. By the time, no one is in the corridor. I'm guessing they all went back to sleep. I grabbed the healing potion from my drawer and gave it to him.

"What's this?"

"That's a healing potion. Drink it. It should help."

"...Where did you get this?" He's looking suspicious now.

"I-it was given to me..."

"Nixie... Don't tell me you stole this again."

"No, I didn't. Solomon gave it to me just in case I lick something I shouldn't again..."

He looked at me for a second, deciding if he could trust my words. Then he popped the cork from the bottle and gulped the liquid in it down. It didn't take long before I saw the deep purple bruise on his chest slowly turn into red color, then his own skin tone.

"Feeling better?" He nodded. At least he feels better... Physically.

We spent the weekend at Kohdor's village with his pet and Brandon. Though since Kohdor's mood was down, we didn't do much. We mostly just stayed at home and walked the dogs and the cats. I tried my best to lift his mood though. I joked about. Goofed about. Cooked for him and such. He would laugh and smile but it was obvious that he was just faking it. Heck, even Brandon noticed it. Though he did genuinely smile when Brandon wore the T-shirt he'd gifted to him. And also when his pets were being all lovey dovey with him.

The only other method that worked is when I brought out his favorite whiskey. Thus half of the time back in Terrasia was spent drinking and only me getting drunk. Thankfully by the end, Kohdor seemed to be in a cheery mood. He is still very much excited to get back into studying. Though my heart breaks everytime we have to say goodbye to his babies. They always whine and moan. I wish we could bring them to Devildom but that place is too harsh for them.

Sigh...

Back at Purgatory Hall, I tried my hardest to hide the whiskey I brought with me. I just thought this would probably come in handy one day, since demonus don't really get us drunk for some reason.
