Kohdor's Puppy Love

Kohdor's POV:

I looked down to check on Akio once more. She is clearly disappointed that Mammon didn't take the bento box she made for him. She looks cute pouting but I bet she looks even cuter if I'm the reason behind it. I placed my hand on top of her head and rubbed it.

"It's fine, Akio. He lost a perfectly delicious meal today."

Akio was surprised at my touch at first and then got mad really quickly. She grabbed my hand with both of her tiny hands and lifted it off her head. She looked up at me, blushing. She looks like an angry puppy right now.

"Stop petting me! I'm not a dog..."

"Stop looking cute then." I told her as I leaned down closer to her. I had a full view of her shocked face turning red. I giggled.

"I-I... You!..." She was struggling to have a comeback and failed miserably. I burst out laughing.

"S-shut up!" Gah! Even her screaming voice sounds too adorable. I told her I'll stop teasing her since we're close to our classroom. I didn't want her to enter the room with her red face and embarrass her even more. She made a little fuzz about it too. I opened up the door and gestured for her to enter. "Little ladies first." Akio gave me pats on my arm. Oh wait, she was actually trying to hurt me. She is so mad right now. She stormed in and quickly picked her seat. She dropped to her chair with her arms crossed. Ah, I've successfully turned her into a literal steaming tomato. That pretty contrasting light blue hair is making it more apparent. I hope she doesn't hate me too much.

I scanned the room to get a view of my classmates. There are way too many students here right now. I spotted Nixie there. She was sitting in front of a desk, her arms on it and her head resting on one of her hands, looking at me smiling. I smiled back and sat on the chair beside hers. I pulled the chair closer to her and leaned on the same desk.

"What are you doing here? You're not in my history class." I asked Nixie.

"Yeah, all of the students are pulled here for a quick announcement." I nodded. I was going to check on Akio again when I heard Nixie, "Looks like you're making friends already." She flashed me a cheeky smile. "Oh, Akio? Yeah, I like her." Nixie chuckled. I think she knows already. After all, we've been friends since we were kids, and she knows when I am taking a liking towards someone. "I hope she's single." She whispered to me. "I hope."

"Hey Akio!" Oh, no. Dang it, Nixie. Akio looked at her in surprise. She seems like she is unsure if Nixie was talking to her. "Are you single?!" I just covered my face. Everyone is looking at us now.

Yep. This is my best friend...

Akio stammered a yes. I was hoping she'd say that. Nixie then pointed at me and whispered. A whisper that everyone can hear, might I add. "He's single too." Nixie nodded at her like she's supposed to do something about it. I just shook my head. I looked at Akio and told her not to give her any attention. But really, thanks Nixie. At least now I know she's available.

"Are we here to get ourselves girlfriends? Or are we here to study?" I heard a man say, I turned to see Benji sitting beside Akio. He has that protective aura. Perhaps he's into Akio too?

"Why not both, eh? This year's going to be boring if we're just going to study." I tapped Nixie's head with a ruler to get her to stop. "Some people can't do both. Pick a priority." Benji sassed. "Not if you're good at it. Want me to teach you?" Ah, Nixie. She has a particular way of making friends.

"No thanks." Benji replied before Lucifer, Barbatos and Diavolo came into the room. The three demons started to greet the students. The students greeted them back.
