Bibby's POV:

That nightmare that I had that night was more vivid as the week went on. I couldn't stop hearing his voice; couldn't stop seeing his hands.

I shook my head, and kept studying. Or trying to.

Throughout the week, I mostly just studied in my room or helped Kamal out with his homework.

He was smart, but he didn't understand a lot. I asked why he seemed to get some things but not others. All he would say was that he was homeschooled, and that he only was taught the basics. I didn't understand what he meant exactly by basics, but he wouldn't elaborate; I assumed he meant reading and writing, the same as I had been taught.

I went through the motions for the rest of the week, barely sleeping and just mostly studying.

I especially enjoyed the language and magics classes; I was definitely going to get into the self defence classes as well.

I woke up early, barely having slept again, and went down to eat before heading to RAD. I would go to the library before the potions class started to see if I can research a little more to understand.

Akio had left everyone a bento box again, like she always did, and find myself smiling and being grateful for it.

I spotted tiny little balls and took a closer look. There was a note with them:

These are supposed to look like those Wattles you like. I hope they're ok.

I grinned and shook my head, remembering the very short conversation Akio and I had the day before yesterday.

Akio had waited for me outside my room. "Hey, Bibby. Uh, I was wondering what your favourite flower was?"

I frowned and thought. "Oh. I never really thought about it." I looked at her and she seemed a little disappointed. I softened a little and tapped my chin. "If I was to choose a plant or flower, it would probably be a Wattle."

Akio frowned. "A what?"

I had to explain what a Wattle tree was and showed her a few photos for reference. She seemed fascinated and wanted to know more.

I grinned at the memory.

"Nixie! Give it!" I looked up from the potion we were supposed to be making, to see Kohdor and Nixie struggling over a bottle of Devil's Kiss juice. I frowned as to why they'd be fighting over it, then shrugged.

It wasn't my business. I added a few more ingredients to the potion and sighed.

"What's wrong?"

"Hmm? Oh, I think I either put too much, or it is the wrong ingredient." I didn't look up as I looked at my notes.

"Oh no."

"What?" I looked up and my eyes went to Nixie who was vomiting flowers.
