Kohdor's POV:

Munch, munch...

This is a damn good chilli. Benji and Jesse did a good job. I'd enjoy eating more if Nixie was here though. Right now I'm eating what's supposed to be hers. Why did Lucifer have to take her to his office again to get her to study? Is that even necessary? I doubt it. I feel like I'm not doing a great job looking after her. Why am I here just eating?? I probably should go over there!

"Kohdor?" I heard my name being called. It was Akio. "Kohdor, I'm sure she's fine." She gave me a cute little smile. Yeah, I'm probably overthinking.

Thank you Akio, for being here for me. I'd probably lose myself and come storming to the House Of Lamentation, embarrassing Nixie and myself if you weren't here to calm me. Yeah, Nixie's a strong woman. She can take care of herself...

Akio held my hand and squeezed it. I haven't said a word, have I? Well now I'd probably stay quiet on purpose just so she holds my hand longer.

Akio gave me her leftovers tonight, she might have noticed that I was still hungry after eating four servings of chillies. Man, is it getting obvious that I'm starving? It's been five days since I started eating like a normal human would. It's torture. And my stomach is growling again. NO. I don't want to go to the kitchen. I'm too lazy to get up, put clothes on and rummage through the fridge to find food. Besides, it's super late.

I looked at my DDD and saw the time, it's a quarter past midnight. I should be asleep by now but how? That Nixie, I tried ringing her DDD but it wouldn't go through. She must've forgotten to charge it again... Gaaaahhh!!! Just let me know you're still alive Nixie!

I almost forgot to message Akio.

Kohdor: "Good night, Akio. Thank you for today. I would've been overly worried if you weren't around."

...

Akio: "It's alright, Kohdor. I hope you're not too worried anymore. I'm sure Simeon and Luke are making sure that nothing bad is going to happen to Nixie. You need your sleep. I don't want you to be tired all day at RAD later. ^^ sweet dreams. <3"

I smiled. I felt my cheek getting warmer. How I hope she's only texting me like this. I held my D.D.D. to my chest. It's as if Akio is here calming me down by placing her tiny hand on my chest. Haha... Don't worry Akio, if you are here right now, I'll be fully clothed. The last thing I want is to scare her off. I chuckled to myself. I finally felt relaxed and yawned. The exhaustion is finally hitting me and my consciousness is slowly fading.

I woke up at 5am. I immediately put some pants on and checked Nixie's room. She's still not back.

I rang Lucifer's phone and he quickly answered, "If you're calling to ask about Nixie, she's asleep." Lucifer told me without me even saying anything. I felt my D.D.D. vibrate. He'd sent me a picture of his office? Oh, Nixie's right there, sleeping on a sofa. "If she doesn't wake up for RAD. It wouldn't be a problem. I'll just let everybody know." And he hung up.

...

He's letting her sleep in? Strange. Should I pick her up? ...Nah... Oh, I know!
