Kohdor's POV:

Grim thoughts plagued my mind once again as I lay on my bed. Thoughts about Nixie when I saw her wearing that maid outfit when she was chasing Bibby in the corridors. Jess was blowing Kamal's and my ears out but I couldn't focus on what she was saying.

Then I sensed her arriving at the Purgatory Halls. I quickly got up and put pants on. On my way down to the entrance hall, I saw the front door open, Lucifer had opened it for Nixie. It really unsettles me seeing her in that outfit, especially around demons like Lucifer. He left and I met with Nixie.

She looked up at me. "Why are you still awake?" I put my hands inside my pockets. "Why are you wearing that?"

"Oh, just... For cleaning. So I don't mess up my clothes." "I don't think that's necessary." I think I sounded mad but it wasn't intentional. "Look I got leggings on. The only skin you see is just my face and my hands." She says as she spins. I scratched my neck. "Do you think I should just come with you? And clean with you there at HOL?"

"No. This is my punishment not yours."

"Well, I am the one using the bag..." I couldn't hide my concern and she probably noticed that.

"KD, I'm not 14 anymore, you know?"She chuckled. Reminding me of that night when she...

"I know. I know. You're a "big girl" now. You can handle yourself but at the same time, you're surrounded by the most powerful demons there and I don't know what they're doing to you..."

She snorted. "Okay, seriously, that's kinda funny." She sighed before adding, "They're not doing anything to me. Weirdly enough, demons here are not like the demons in Terrasia. And even if they're considered the strongest demons here in Devildom. Do you really think they can harm me? ME??"

I shifted, feeling uncomfortable. I really am against her going there and staying until late at night, especially in that dress. Then I felt her tapping on my shoulder. "Trust me, okay? I just clean there, and afterwards, I study in Lucifer's office. That's it. No funny business." I looked at her, gave her a nod and a smile before letting her go to her room.

The things that happened in the past, it's really happening again isn't it? But no. It can't be. I changed and so did she... Did she?

I am overthinking again, I need to meditate. Here in the middle of the entrance hall is just perfect. Meditating on the above floors is not like doing it on the ground, closer to nature. And I assume everyone is sleeping already so I'm all good here.

I positioned myself on the floor. I sat there crossed legs, my elbows bent into a comfortable position. My hands on top of each other on my lap. Back straight and eyes closed. Releasing any tension on my body I began breathing in deep, and then out, very slowly.

"What are you doing?"

I gently open my eyes to see Simeon standing in front of me in a respectful distance. He's smiling but his eyes are filled with curiosity. "I'm meditating." I smiled back at him.

"I see. And is it necessary to be doing that here?" He looked around. I nodded my head. "Yes. It's more effective when I'm closer to nature." I know it's strange. He probably thinks the same. Can we even call this place nature? We're basically in The Under of all places, but I guess? I mean I do see nature here.

Simeon just hummed. "Do you wanna try it with me?" I asked him knowing he'd most likely agree. "Yes, sure." He then walked and sat beside me and I tried to instruct him. "Yeah, just sit like how I'm sitting right now. Make sure you're very comfortable. Then close your eyes. Breathe deeply and think of nothing." Simeon nodded and did everything that I just said.
