Atsumu Miya grunted in displeasure the moment he found out Suna Baka-rin was picking up some members of the Nippon team tonight.
He could have offered, but interfering with Kita's finality earlier when Suna offered could have gotten him in real shit with the former captain who was already stressed enough as he was, given that this task was just handed to them by the school without a day's notice.
"Atsumu."
The blonde haired setter frowned upon seeing Kita stand beside him on the doorframe.
"Your girlfriend will be here any minute— I had assumed you would be happier given the circumstances." The former captain spoke, looking at his kouhai with calculated eyes.
Atsumu looked away, "I am."
"You say that, but," Kita started, walking back into the house.
"You don't seem to believe your own words."
The blonde setter sighed, leaning against the doorframe as he mulled over Kita's words.
As much as he wanted to deny it with a retort, Atsumu could do nothing else but sigh.
Because Kita was right.
Over the course of a few months he'd known Ymari, there wasn't a time he didn't feel at ease around her. Even the mere mention of her name would send butterflies rampaging in his stomach.
But now, as he awaits her arrival, that wasn't the case.
Instead of butterflies, worry was what swirled in his stomach.
He was at unease— not because of her. But because..
"What if they find out?" He muttered under his breath. "Will she leave?"
The time Ymari had spent with the Inarizaki team didn't last for more than a few hours each meeting. However, this wasn't the case this time. They'd be living under the same roof— so he was worried that they might see some loopholes in their relationship. Moreover, his worries were deepened by the fact that Kita and Suna would be living in the same villa as her for the next two days.
What if Kita-san sees Sunarin make a move on her?
He shook his head. Why was he worried about Kita-san finding out?

He sighed.
