THE CLOUDS WERE FEATHERY, THE SKY WAS BLUE, THE SUN WAS SHINING, AND YET..
The ticked off expression on the raven-haired girl's face was prominent as she let out her hundredth sigh this morning.
Who wouldn't keep sighing in exasperation?
She had been kidnapped and enslaved. If you were in her shoes, you'd do the same thing.
Especially since the perpetrator was none other than—
"C'mon Hon-chan, you willingly went inside the car, so can you please stop monologuing like I'd kidnapped you?" Kuroo sweatdropped when he heard the girl muttering from the shotgun seat.
She just rolled her eyes at her perpetrator who truly lived up to his name.
"It's kidnapped and enslaved, doofus."
"Okay I'm not enslaving you." He facepalmed while he drove with one hand.
She tch'ed, "Then what is this?"
She motioned towards Kuroo's phone in her hands. "Huh?"
Kuroo just exhaled. "I gave that to you so you can choose a song to play on the car speakers."
"Exactly, enslaved. You dare tell me what to do." She narrowed her eyes at him.
Kuroo just sighed again. Sana-obaasan had warned him about Seinaru's moodswings today. Apparently, the two guys he'd seen two nights ago at the girl's apartment (who turned out to be both her best friends), had told Obaasan about the girl being on her period, and so the older woman briefed Kuroo about the girl's behavior that might be out of the ordinary.
"Hey, I wanna listen to Avril Lavigne." The girl suddenly piped up.
Kuroo looked at her briefly, then back on the road, "Play away."
Before you start getting confused as to what's going on, let's do a recap first— the day is 27th of February, a day after the (second) finals of the Spring Nationals.
The awarding ceremonies had commenced yesterday, with the MVP of the competition being Seinaru, and the Mythical Five, having been given to Ichigo of Niiyama, Kasai of Ichibayashi, Amaterasu of Yūshū, and Kai Hayama of Yōsen. The Niiyama team, with the addition of the Japan roster, Kuroo, Kenji, and Hirugami, had a small get-together at Coach Kise's house and shared food and drinks afterwards, and then they all went home afterwards.
