HOME. Is it a place?

When you say the word home, what comes to mind? Is it somewhere you feel safe? A place where you can let go of your worries and just be yourself?

If that's how it's defined, is home ever truly just a place?

Or can it be a person?

For the longest time, he'd tried to grasp the true meaning of home. And what home truly was to him.

Six years ago if anyone had asked, the answer would've been simple.

Her.

Home is where your heart is, right?

His heart was with her.

But now, he no longer knew the answer to it.
For the longest time he'd been lost. Because the person he once called home left.

Knock. Knock.

He heard someone knock on the door. His eyes didn't leave what was in front of him as he called out, "Come in."

The door creaked open and in came someone clad in an all-white uniform. The lady smiled down at him, "Hello, Miya-san. I'm Tsukiko. I speak Japanese so you need not speak French or English with me."

The blonde-haired setter nodded, "Thanks."

She looked over Atsumu's shoulder, "Has she not awoken yet?"

It was two hours after the scrimmage of the men's and women's team had ended. And also approximately two hours since Atsumu caught Ymari faint inside the gym.

He was just getting back from a long walk he'd taken when he abruptly left in the middle of the game earlier. He was just thinking and stuck in his thoughts that he felt the need to go out for a bit. But when he came back, not only were his teammates gone but the game was over too.

That was when he saw her shooting some hoops. He noticed that she looked a tad tired but still watched her. It was only when she was about to faint that he realized that perhaps the girl was overfatigued, or worse, sick.

He caught her in his arms and immediately brought her to the hospital.

Sadly, his phone was dead so he couldn't contact anyone about their whereabouts. God knows Coach Hibarida and the team were probably pissed at him already.
