THE TRAIN RIDE TO MIYAGI WAS A LONG AND GRUELING JOURNEY THAT HE HAD TO ENDURE FOR FOUR FULL HOURS. Although, he knew it was incomparable to the number of times that the girl had to take the old 12-hour train to Hyogo not-so long ago.

It was day two of the Basketball Spring Nationals. And although he had nothing to do with it, somehow, he found his being directing him to the very place he half-dreaded being inside of.

Sendai Sports Gymnasium.

The text on the arena looked back at him in bold, glaring letters, akin to the bright sunlight that partially blinded him when he'd stepped off the rental car earlier.

"'Tsumu, hurry up!" He heard his twin brother say.

Oh right, he did come here with some people.

Osamu, Ginjima, and Suna walked ahead of him as they'd exited the car earlier.

Suna was the one who had driven the car, since he was once again the only one who didn't leave his license back at home. The four of them all pitched in to rent this black 2010 Hyundai Genesis so they can get around Miyagi for the next few days of the tournament.

They also booked a hotel where they'd be sleeping for the next days, the same one the Inarizaki basketball teams (both male and female) were staying at.

"Yeah, I'll be right there!"

As Atsumu caught up to his group and entered the arena with them, he couldn't help the nerves he felt in his body.

"Nice of you to finally show." Utsui quipped when her girlfriend finally sat beside her in the courtside bleachers.

The taller girl from Shiratorizawa grunted, "It was a long line outside."

The brunette blinked, "Really?"

"Yeah. They don't just let anyone in without a ticket." The bluegreenette shrugged.

She then glanced at the court where the second game of Niiyama (Miyagi) was ongoing.

"What's the score?"

Utsui just looked bored and pointed upwards, "Look up."

Saito's eyes followed her hand and blinked in mild shock, "Oh."
