THERE WERE MANY PLACES THAT SHE WOULD HAVE MUCH PREFERRED TO BE IN THAN THIS ONE HERE RIGHT NOW. However, with the semi-finals game two days from now versus whoever ran through the ranks in the quarters tomorrow, and the impending finals game that she was to participate in should her team win the SFs, the pressure on her was kind of heavy. So she had to stay here and watch to study her opponent.
As a rookie small forward at this day and age, she could only do so much. She's not by all means, a god on the court. Personally, she thinks she has her ups and downs.
However, Women's Basketball Monthly Japan seems to think otherwise.

The latest results of the rankings had placed her first, as did the previous readings since she'd entered the world of basketball just two years ago. She only started playing in her second year of middle school after being discovered by the Yosen coach. Since then, she's been playing small forward, and has been the greatest at it in Japan despite only being a first year now.
She's been dubbed the nickname Multi-Kai. It was due to the fact that whenever you went up against her in a one on one, you'd feel as though you were versing two players at once.
Kai Hayama is a 6'1 ft tall blonde girl with pink highlights in her shoulder length hair. She often has her blonde and pink tendrils in a braided ponytail.
"Scouting the competition, huh?" She heard the familiar voice of her brother quip from beside her.
In addition to being a good basketball player, Kai Hayama is also the little sister of one of Rakuzan's 3rd year varsity players, and one of the members of the olympic team not so long ago, Kotaro Hayama.
"I'm simply watching Seinaru-sama play basketball." She rolled her eyes at him.
She was watching the match between Shizuoka's Eiwa High and Miyagi's Niiyama Academy.
It was currently the fourth quarter of the game and the prodigy had just subbed in the first time this match for Zenin when her brother had spoken up earlier.
"Yeah?" Kotaro looked at the court and spotted the beautiful ravenette. "Oh yeah, there she is."
"Go Seinaru!" He shouted, getting some looks from other audience members.
