LOVE IS SWEETER THE SECOND TIME AROUND. Is what they all say.
As the protagonist looks at the plethora of packages, flowers, and iced coffee takeout on the table and the floors of her hospital room, she tries to figure out if that quote was meant to be taken literally.
Because this was too sweet for her liking!

It was six in the morning when her coach, Tori Akashi had paid her a visit with two iced coffee takeout.
Utsui had taken over the babysitting last night when Atsumu had to leave because they had games in the morning. And 'til now, she was the one with the Akatsuki captain.
"The quarter-final matchups just came out." Coach Tori told the two of them.
"Who're we up against?" Utsui raised a brow as she took a tablet, one of Ymari's medications and a glass of water.
"USA." The coach informed them.
Utsui's eyes narrowed as she handed the meds to Ymari. The girl took it and gulped the tablet down with water.
"Can you give me their lineup this year?" The Akatsuki captain asked.
Her coach nodded, "Sure. I'll send it over."
As she was pressing a few buttons on her phone, she looked up at her star player with worry in her eyes. "Will you be able to play?"
The girl hummed, "Don't worry, Tori-obaasan. I'll play tomorrow."
She glanced back at her coach and gave her a small grin, "Can't have my third favorite paragon aunt worrying now, can I?"
Although that statement about her being the third favorite, only coming third to Dei Aomine, who unfortunately was the favorite aunt of Seinaru in the Paragon Six and the second, Rei Kise, she couldn't help but feel relieved.
Having the nation's bests on the Japan women's team roster was definitely a treat, and being able to have a combination like that easily made them a powerhouse against most countries.
But having her on the lineup was like Kami-sama's grace on earth. The best point guard in the nation and the leader of the five top prodigies of FIBA's Prodigal Five— Ymari Seinaru.
