"GIRLFRIEND?"
The ravenette looked at her aunt incredulously. The term irked her to the bone, it had been something she didn't want to be referred to as since her high school graduation. Her priorities have changed since then.
Ymari has been in her aunt's office for about thirty minutes now. Since Kuroo rushed to her press-con earlier from his office at the JSC because his staff told him about the photo circulating on the internet, Ymari's press-con had been canceled. And now, after discussing the uniforms of the Akatsuki for the Paris Olympics, her aunt had moved towards discussing the elephant in the room.
Sana sighed, fingers rubbing the crease of her forehead lightly. "Believe me, Ymari. If there was another way to put a stop to this nonsense—"
"Well isn't there?" Kuroo asked with his legs crossed as he sat across the table from the CEO, while he was also beside Ymari.
The publicist of ICS who'd been given the task to find a way to alleviate the rumors raised his hand. "If I may—"
"No you may not." Ymari cut in. She then recognized him as the same guy who'd proposed that ridiculous PR stunt involving Atsumu during the 2013 Tokyo Olympics on the day she purposely walked out on Australia.
"I know you." She blinked at him. "How are you still not fired?"
Yachi held back a snicker as she covered her mouth.
Sana just looked at her niece in amusement, but sighed nonetheless. "Listen, dear. This time he's actually onto something."
"Like what?" The ravenette rhetorically said as she scoffed at the idea of being someone's girlfriend for publicity. "Like getting me to date someone for PR?"
"Yes, that's what he said. Got a problem with that?" Her aunt asked.
"Of course I do." She snorted. "I'm not going to force Atsumu to be my boyfriend for publicity. That's insensitive."
"Good thing it's not Atsumu Miya then." Her aunt said.
Then just in time knocks resounded on the door, and Anne, Sana's secretary went to open it, before she exited when the person entered.
"What do you mean it's not Atsumu?" Ymari asked with furrowed brows.
Sana shrugged, waving at something by the door.
Ymari followed her gaze and her eye twitched.
"Don't tell me.."
A tall figure stepped through the doorway, the overhead lights catching on the crisp black fabric of his suit. His expression was unreadable but his dark eyes flicked immediately to her.
