YACHI WOKE UP WITH A JOLT. There was a loud clang in the downstairs kitchen, and her eyes immediately snapped open when she heard it.
She got up and ignored the sudden jolt in her system due to the abruptness of her actions. She looked at the time on her phone— 5:23 in the morning.
Could her boss be awake at this time?
Her brows furrowed as she slipped into her fuzzy slippers and lightly padded downstairs.
When she got there, she was met with a sight that made her eyes nearly pop out of their sockets.
