Karasuno High School - Lunch Break
"Say Kageyama, did Shekinah-san say anything before she left?" Hinata sauntered next to the raven haired setter.
Kageyama, who was on his way to the cafeteria to grab lunch looked at the middle blocker for a moment before he finally jumped. "Boke- you surprised me!"
During morning practice today, Kageyama briefly mentioned to the team that the reason he was late for the first time in his life was because he'd been held up by a small errand. When asked about it, he explained that Ymari had texted him the day before, saying they would be staying at the Seinaru home and that he should sleep at her place so someone would be there to open the house for the whole group.
He remembers what happened this morning, just after the doorbell rang at the estate while he was finishing getting ready for morning volleyball practice.
Seinaru Residence - Morning
"Hanuka-san." Kageyama blinked, glancing at the two figures behind the pink-haired power forward.
"Ichigo-san..." He looked at the magenta-haired player beside the brunette center and blinked again, still a bit surprised.
"It's Kasai," The power forward answered with a nod.
"Kageyama," He introduced himself back, stepping aside to let the three Japan players in.
He then looked behind them, his expression faltering slightly. "Ano... where's Ymari?"
The two girls were unfazed, but Kasai was taken aback at the familiarity between him and Seinaru, just now realizing they were on a first-name basis. But who could blame her? This was their first formal interaction after all.
"She's likely still asleep in Coaster A," Ichigo supplied, holding up her overnight bag, as did the others. "We just came in first for our stuff."
"Oh," Kageyama blinked, a little uncertain.
As the two Niiyama players plopped down on the couch and made themselves at home, the vice-captain of the Japan team remained standing, watching Kageyama carefully.
Kasai studied him for a moment before speaking up. "Do you want to go check in the coaster to see if she's awake now?"
"Ah- I dont think its appropriate." Kageyama turned red. "I'll just wait for her to come in."
