Sunoo was still crying in his father's arms as he is still somewhat scared from before. Sunghoon just tried his best to calm him down but Sunoo is still crying.

Maybe the baby is really strucked with fear that even his father can't calm him down.

"Hoon, I think you should warm up. . . you're ice cold"

Sunghoon then realized that he is indeed cold. Maybe that's why Sunoo is crying, because he's cold.

"May I?"

Although Jake is still shaken from before, he cannot bear to watch the poor baby cry his lungs out. He knew he can help when Jay said something about warmth.

However, his heart to help was shattered when Sunghoon gave him a very angry look. The anger that even from his eyes, Jake can feel his insides being torn apart.

"Sunghoon, Jake can help . . please"

Jay had to step in when Sunoo's cries worsened.

Cautiously, Sunghoon placed the baby in Jake's arms not missing to give him a threatening look that.

Sunghoon is still on high alert when his hands let go of his child and the will to kill is on his surface if the wolf will do anything to harm the child.

Jake slowly placed the baby's head on his shoulders as his palm slowly rubs the baby's back. Closing his eyes, he starts to hum a soft tune and everyone in the room began to feel a strange sensation, a soothing warmth all over the walls.

Sunoo slowly calmed down and Sunghoon didn't fail to see the wolf's eyes glow when he again locked eyes with him.

Now Sunghoon saw it again, that unrealistic blue eyes that seem to hypnotize you any second.

"Wow . . Jake how did you do it?"

Jake smiled before slowly releasing the child from his embrace. Sunoo on the other hand just look up at him as his hand slowly reach out to touch his face. His little hands made contact with Jake's face as the child look him in the eyes.

"Yeah . .  how?"

Sunghoon on the other hand didn't hold back to ask him. You can't blame him, that is very unusual.

"Uhm .   well, can I trust you to keep a secret?"

Both vampire nodded and Jake handed Sunoo back to his father to whom he immediately clings onto.

"Uhm . . I just found it out when I turn 18. . . . I suddenly burnt my pillow with my hand . .  and then I realized, I can make fire or heat come out my hand. . I then practiced to control it.  .  maybe the reason why I am still sane after spending all my life locked in"

Jay and Sunghoon are speechless after Jake admits to his abilities. And the fact that he grew up locked inside the house.

"If you have powers, can't you use that when you're. . you know that time?"

Confused Sunghoon look at Jay not understanding what his friend just mentioned. What time?

"I can't. . it will just make it worse.  .I might be the unluckiest among the unlucky wolves. .I have an ability, but it is a curse to me than a luck actually "

No one spoke after that and Jake just closed his eyes and cover himself with the blanket but Jay and Sunghoon didn't fail to see the tears that is pooling in Jake's eyes.

Jay knew Jake's past but Sunghoon had no idea as to why Jay suddenly left the room and into his room.

Unknown to everyone, Jake never mentioned to Jay that his mate is actually Sunghoon.
