What just happened?

I slowly opened my eyes and look around trying to figure out what was going on. I am aware that I collapsed and I just lost all sense and then, what happened next?

I am currently alone in my room but my stomach is grumbling. I guess I am out for a long time as I am starving. I slowly get up but something painful on the side of my neck halted me. The heck is that? I got up so quickly that the pain is like someone sliced me on the side of the neck.

I touched my neck and nothing is out of the ordinary .  .  except the fact that I am in pain and my stomach is not even helping.

I look beside me and I saw the button I used to alert Jay before when I'm in heat. I stretched out my arms and press it and just like that, I immediately heard rushing on the outside of the door before Sunghoon barged in with Jay. Why are they so fast?

"Jake . . how are you? Are you feeling fine now?"

I smiled but I groaned the moment my neck stings again.

"My neck hurts so bad . . "

Both looked at me in shock and Sunghoon immediately walked to me before inspecting my neck.

"Uh . . Jake, if a wolf or an omega got their mark without mating, what will happen?"

Sunghoon's question shocked me.

"Oh . . . nothing bad will happen but it's just that marking completes the mating. . but nothing bad will happen. . . on the other hand, if they marked each other, they must complete the mating process to seal the bond or something. . .why do you ask?"

Sunghoon looked at Jay and Jay nodded before slowly leaving the room and Sunghoon again touched my neck and I can feel his cold hand making me smile at him.

"Jake . . when you faint, mom told me that you've reached your maximum year being mateless. .10 years. ."

"Oh . . . yeah. . I just reached 10 years Mateless and I am suppose to die ---- I am suppose to be dead. . how am I alive?"

"Mom and Jay both told me that a wolf can survive with their mate marking them. . . I am desperate to keep you alive so I agreed to mark you . .--"

"How? . . I'm not in heat. ."

"I'm sorry . . I stole some drug from a nearby pack . . the one that forcefully place a wolf in heat. . it was successful and I managed to mark you just in time to save you . ."

"I'm marked? . ."

"Yeah . . I'm scared it might harm you but I'm desperate to save you and thats the only thing that I can do. . . "

I pulled him towards me before hugging him and completely making myself fall on him as I cried. I can't believe I'm marked, the one thing I never dreamt of even having. I'm so happy.

"I'm so happy .  thank you Hoon . . thank you . . I'm still alive. .Gosh ..  I love you"

I felt him stiffen and I got nervous. Am I too fast for him?

He slowly pulled away and I got scared at the thought that he might see me differently. I'm scared to now look him in the eye. I shouldn't have said that.

"What?"

He slowly lift my chin and I look at him and more tears fall from my eyes.

"Nothing . . . nothing. . forget it if you're uncomfortable"
