I have a feeling for the first time I saw the alpha that we won't be in big trouble. But when I saw my own father within the crowd of attackers, I don't know if I want to cry in sadness or in anger. He is just not contented with kicking me out of the pack but he just have to make sure to kill me.

He got shocked tho when I transformed to my wolf form and fight him to which I almost did but stupid net caught me. My only thoughts after being caught and beaten by those wolves is that hopefully, Sunghoon and the other residents of this house will be spared. However, the moment I'm down, Sunghoon follows then Jay then in a blink, the barrier of ice and fire we set up goes down.

Fortunately enough, my hunch is right about the alpha, he didnt let those wolves hurt the babies and Sunghoon's mother who looks terrified. Imagine her fear right now at the thought of loosing her only family to wolves for the second time.

After the wolves left, I noticed how the alpha looked wierd and he is acting weird as his eyes are only set on Sunoo who's currently wiggling and crying on his grandmother's arms as I believe he wants to run to Sunghoon at the moment. Sunghoon was about to go to him when the alpha suddenly took Sunoo in his arms making all of them tensed. I don't know how and why but I don't feel any sense of danger from the alpha. He looks so intimidating and cold but I felt like he won't do anything to harm us.

I can see how Sunghoon is ready to kill right now as he look at the duo and I totally get where he's coming from. Fortunately, before he even get a step towards Sunoo, Jay stopped him and by the look on the alpha's face, I think both Jay and I know what that means.

The alpha just found his mate in Sunoo. However, I'm bothered by the fact that Sunoo is literally a baby, he can't even walk properly nor is a year old, how old is this alpha anyway? I know wolves age like snails but he could be decades older than Sunghoon.

The age difference is huge. I admit my age is like quarter of Sunghoon's age but it doesn't matter I think because we are adults and we can think on our own and make our own decisions and such. We have each other's consent but Sunoo, how could a baby even understand this when all he knew is to depend on his father and grandmother ?

Sunghoon looked shaken as if he just heard something he cannot put a grip on. Even now that I'm thinking of it, I am shaken.

I immediately stepped in and carefully took Sunoo away from him. I know if I forcefully did, he might get angry. Alphas tend to be overly possessive of their mates so an act of "stealing" them could be punishable by death.

"I acknowledge your words as I know how you feel about finally meeting your mate . . however, I don't know how we could accept this. Sunoo is a baby and you're. . . I think you're even older than Sunoo's father. . I'm sorry but we cannot give him to you just yet. . "

The alpha looked shocked and I don't know if that's a good thing. He turn at Sunghoon before speaking

"Tell me ..  How old are you all in this room?"

I'm confused but Sunghoon managed to answer.

"I'm already on my first century . . . so as Jay and my mom is on her second century. . . as you know, me, Jay and my mom are vampires and even my son . . Jake is a wolf. . . he's a 28 year old wolf . . ."

I place Sunoo in Sunghoon's arms after he finished speaking.

Then laughter echoed in the room, and that laughter came from the alpha himself.

"You're all acting like I'm a 200 year old wolf. . well for your information, I just reached the age for an alpha to recognize his mate . ."
